This used to happened to me when I would eat sweet potatoes. I went 30 years with no problems with sweet potatoes and then for like 2 year I could not eat them without major rumblings. I had some sweet potato fries the other day and no problem, but it wasn't very much, so I don't know.

I have this same thing. My doc says its the ligaments that are connected to your lower ribs in the front being inflamed and irritated. She put me on a once daily anti-inflammatory and it has works wonders!!!

We have a goal to tour and watch a game in each MLB stadium. Out of 30 teams we only have 2 checked off, but getting Fenway this summer!

Count everything. Fruit can have much more calories than you think. Take a large-ish (about 100 grams) banana. It has around 100 calories. Would you not track a 100 calorie cookie?? No you would track the 100 calorie cookie, so track the 100 calorie banana. I love my gram scale for fruit. Yes, it takes a little bit more…

pretend its the Biggest Loser and don't look at numbers. Look at percentage. you don't weigh the same so he's going to lose "more" some weeks. Also I find that my husband loses faster, but I lose more consistently. Just keep going!!!

I'm 5'2 amd 127 and still in an 8 from the Gap. Its a little big, could probably do a 6. My 4's from a while ago look extremely painted on but they do button. My stated goal weight is 122, but I may adjust when I get there. HW was 148

At first I as adding the jogging and the alking seperatley and then my husband got a smart phone and now I use the Runkeeper app. Love it!

Grilled chicken and onions. Say no to the chips or just have a few and really stick to it. Watch the sour cream and cheese. I also like to get guac and 1 or two corn tortillas. Love having my mexican restaurant nights back!!

I have noticed that since I have started running I notice runners everywhere!! and everytime I do I wish real life was like facebook where I could click "like" as I drive by and let them know that they are awesome for being out there and doing their best!!

avocado also makes an awesome Mayo subsitute. just mash some up and spread it on a sandwich instead of mayo!
