Protein & water girl! That's been my best friend! Also I apologize about the rudeness, please don't let those few people keep you from asking questions!

Hi! I'm a Masters level Social Work student going into my final semester of grad school and taking my licensing exam soon. Just want to preface what I say with that so you know I'm not a full fledge mental health professional yet but I do have a lot of education so take any of the pieces of my post you want that you feel…

I usually do 3 egg whites with soy cheese, green or red peppers, and onion. Its very low cal so I usually have a large banana along with it as well and half a cup Greek yogurt :)

Hey girl! I have had the same thing happen to me by two of my doctors (my gyno and my regular doctor). I'm 4'11" and I weighed 160 pounds when I first began losing weight a little over two years ago. When I first started I hadn't been to the doctor in about a year (because of being away for college), so I really just…

You two look awesome!

OMG I remember this success story! It doesn't surprise me that a company would take these pictures and false advertise. Alas, anything we put on the internet is no longer "ours" it's out in the universe for anyone to use.

I am so sorry to hear this! People are so insensitive and cruel sometimes. You look INCREDIBLE! As hard as it is, don't let others influence your drive and motivation to the best of your ability. This process should be for YOU and only YOU! Keep your chin up!

Do squats. I also highly recommend Active's Couch-to-5K & 5K-to-10K. Also, slow down. You're probably running to fast for your ability at this time. You gotta give your lungs/body time to adjust to running. Keep it slow at first until you can do a full 5K then I'd do interval training to get you up to a 10K (2 minutes…

It's not an easy road. In the beginning, when I first cut my calories, I got the same lightheaded feeling. Honestly, I just ignored the lightheadedness, drank water, and disciplined myself. After a week of sticking through it I felt better and after two weeks I knew I could make this change. You have to realize that your…

I have the Polar FT4 I actually got it for $60 on Amazon. It's basic, it tracks you heart rate and your calories burned. I reallllllly love it!
-
I just got the Polar FT4 about a month ago. It's been reallllly helpful to me as a lot of my calories burned were being overestimated!

Don't beat yourself up! You are HUMAN after all :) No need for fasting or "recovery". Just move on, today's a new day :)

I agree on doing both. My schedule is: M-W-F Running & Lifting, T-Th Cardio (either Zumba, Yoga, Elliptical, Stairmaster, ect.). If you've been doing the same cardio workout's consistently than your body is going to get use to them and the pounds won't come off as easily. If you haven't switched up your cardio workout's…

For me, it really depends on the distance. When I'm just running 2-3 miles I can usually do 9:30 per mile but once I get past 3 miles and up to 4-6 it's 10 minute miles for me. I'm currently doing the 5K-to-10K program and yesterday was a 45 minutes steady run (5 min warm up, 5 min cool down of course) and I started at a…

For me those burns only happen when I'm in the gym for longer than and hour and fifteen minutes. Yesterday I worked out an hour and 35 minutes and got to 815 cals burned. I ran for 55 minutes and did 30 minutes of lifting and 20 minutes of serious stretching.

You look amazing! Congratulations on such a huge accomplishment!

The first two weeks of the month I was eating 1200 calories a day and eating back about half my exercise calories and working out an hour to two hours per day. The third week I did the same but had no lose at all. This past week I upped my calories to 1500 per day, not eating back my exercise calories and working out an…

I used Runtastic for calorie tracking! I just ran the C25K App and Runstastic at the same time. It's a great app to get you into running again!
