  • I use Atkins shakes and they are delicious, but high in fat. If you want lower fat content, try Myoplex . Also, I use Pure Protein powder version, low fat, low cal, only 3 carbs per scoop. I also heard that ISO-100 brand is pretty good ( powder form) super low in carbs, but pricey. I have not tried that one yet.
  • I personally love beaten eggs ( till fluffy), add some freshly shredded zuchini, fresh parsley, salt pepper and make a lil' panckakes . They are so fluffy and light. Delicious! Oh, so filling too.
  • Counting calories OR... change your diet. I relate to your problem, because I used to be the same way. However, I have been doing Atkins diet for some time now. Many people poo poo all over this WOE, but I honestly couldn't care less! I don't count calories AT ALL! I am never hungry, no more cravings and once you get to…
  • Take a pic of yourself before and after this work out. It will blow your mind away once you are finished with day 30. Push yourself, stay motivated. Take a pic after you finish each week of work outs. You won't believe the transformation of your body. I love love 30DS along with other dvds of JM. Best luck to you, DollFace!
  • First step in healing is to admit that you are an addict... to drugs, alcohol... or even food. So, on that note, congratulations, because you are conciously aware of your weakness and you know what needs to be done. I avoid junk food at my house at all cost because I know that deep down inside me, there is a little addict…
  • I try to stop at least 2-3 hours before bedtime ( as it causes me to have nightmares  ...no joke!). I tend to go to bed aroun 10-11 so my last snack would be around ...well now, 8 pm. If you snack late, go for something healthy and filling.... OR what I do- glass of water with a tablespoon of psylium husk ( fiber).…
  • Did you log any work outs ( calories burned)?
  • I am the same way. I will do 2 levels back to back fro more calorie burn and switch it up with MNTZ or BFBM which I hate with passion because it kicks my *kitten*. I have done 30 DS, currently on week 2 of Ripped in 30. Nonetheless, even with new video, I still do 2 levels back to back. I have noticed that I just have to…
  • I log it as 30 minute Circuit Training ( yes, I count the warm up and cool down). I follow the advanced moves. I actually finished it already ( with amazing results!) and started Ripped in 30 over a week ago. Good luck!
  • I rotate 30DS, Banish Fat Boost Metabolism along with No More Trouble Zones. Last week I added Ripped in 30. I try to keep it interesting and not get bored. The results are amazing !!!
  • Opinions are like a@#holes.... everybody has one. So who cares what people say. This is not a competition here. The underlying message in your post sounds like it goes much more deeper then just the weight loss prolbem. Don't bash- give a little bit of support to get one back. That's what we do here on MFP. Best of luck!
  • I would go for the treadmill and not eat back the calories burned.
  • Thank you all for the replies! I appreciate it.
  • On days like that I at least try to drink a meal replacement. I use Secure, which is low cal, low carb and loaded in viatamins and minerals.
  • Welcome! you will LOVE it here  Add me as a friend if you like.

  • I use EAS powder, vanilla flavor along with Secure meal replacement. I usually make smoothie with some ice cubes, sliced strawberries, water and 1 scoop of each . It's delicious, low carb ( which is what I follow) and I drink it usually after my work outs.
  • Hi, welcome! I have been here less than 1 week. You can add me to your friends. Everyone on this site is so very kind and supportive. I follow low-carb dieting, so I log all my veggies. I don't drink pop, so cannot help you there. Good luck! :flowerforyou:
  • :ohwell: DUH! Of course! I feel really dumb.
  • Thanks for you input. I feel like I hit a jackpot with this website. It's really an eye opener for me. And I am so excited how supportive everyone is.
  • I I don't mean to be ignorant, but what is MFP? Two weeks is nothing comparing to over 2 months! Imagine my frustration. My friends tell me that I look great, " you don't have to lose anymore"... However, given the effort I put into it... I want to see the results. It is truly amazing how these darn carbs add up. I logged…
  • I did all my blood work, cholesterol and what not and everything is in more then perfect. My good cholesterol exceeds the recommended number by more then double, so guess that's good. However, if I wanted to switch from Atkins to something else, I cannot just drop it cold turkey. What would you suggest?
  • Excellent advice! Thank you ladies. I figured out that I ate about 85 g of carbs and have not lost a single lb. So, thanks to this site I am wiser to drop the carb intake and hopefully get to my goal weight of 130 lbs. I heard that it's difficult to lose that last 10 lbs and that it takes time, and this and that...…
  • Witamy! :) You are doing a great job! Adding 30 DS to your daily routine will give you an amazing results. I got abs after 1 month!
  • I started with 30 day shred and to be honest... I thought I was going to die after the first time. However, I stuck to it despite the pain and have been doing it for over 30 days now, 6 times per week. I rotate with Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones, so that I don't get bored. I love 30 day shred…
