I'm off the starting line. Weight today 161lbs, 1lb lost this week.

I've done well but I've stuck. No crap down my neck but someone has superglued the scales. Not hopeful for Monday but going to crack on.
-
Just resting after the worse year of my life. Also trying hard not to dive in to the tin of chocolates and drinking creamy cocktails.
-
Reporting no weight loss as mine was updated Saturday which was 2 lb that week. Mine will start next Monday .

Think I must be there as I drink quite a lot of herbal teas like nettle, dandelion, liquorice and ginger.

Hi everyone. My name is Alis. If I lose 1.5 stone by Chrimbo I will have reached my target of 140lbs. It's very achieve able if we work on it . What day will friends be weighing in ( I don't mind changing mine to the majority)? When does it start? Do we change our ticker? We can change it back after Chrimbo. Let's do it…

A superb list and one I can identify with. Thanks for making the time to put together as this does make you think.

SECOND POST Recently, I posted that I was having difficulty finding friends. The response was amazing and thank you to most people that replied politely but some people were not pleasant and wished to rant because I added most people straight away. Some people I missed just because of time delays and human error on my part…

Ditto. Who has set your goals to 800 cals?.

Well said.

If I have sugar overload, I can feel it in my system. I know when the rush has passed because I feel tired and I crave more sugar. Sorry, but sugar is just empty calories and Kelloggs need the sales..

Many thanks for taking the time to explain. Based on this, I am not going by MFP's suggestion but an average from the BMI site and other things. I was so hungry last night it can't be right. Let's see what happens.

I'll never look at a chair in the same way again. Interesting programe.

Stop arguing. We are all fortunate to have the choice to eat at all.
-
Well said.

I use it in sandwiches instead of butter. I also mix a spoon of horseraddish sauce in and add to tuna, wholemeal pasta, mixed peppers and sweetcorn.Very handy to take for a pack up.
-
....and another thing is the fact that I had to come on here for an explanation (of which I am grateful for all the replies as I have learned at lot from them). Biggest Loser should be explaining this on their show. MFP is the best source of info I know of. Well done everybody.
-
Are you the the man from the actual programme. I couldn't work it out last week what had happened and that's why I asked. I understand what people say on here but 9lb. Well done Gerard x

If the others added weight by building muscle and lost 2lb fat from last weeks weigh in, why are they disappointed and the trainers make them feel disappointed. I'd be over the moon.
-
Thanks all. It's so confusing this healthy eating. Have I also missed what their calorie intake is and what food they are eating?
-
Bet you'd wished you'd never asked now.....THERE'S ZILLIONS OF US!!!!!!

MFP provides a choice. Why question why someone has made that particular choice. This question has been asked loads of time but no one asks why we turn off other private diary questions. For example I turned off the prompt for the number of days I have logged in and there is a reason for this but no one has asked that.

I'm just doing a big batch as I like to freeze them for when I'm out and about. I place mine on parchment paper on a shallow tray and cook slowly. I put in all the seeds like flax seeds, pumpkin etc. Couldn't find any malt so using black treacle. Thanks again Jay for reminding me about this.

You, sir, are a real gent but just lighten up a little. Will you marry me? I'll dump the old moaning geezer.

It's important to have a good quality sausage though but unfortunately they're hard to find. Cheap ones just shrivel up.
