  • Bfast at 8am, snack at 10am, lunch at noon, snack at 3pm, dinner at 5:30 or 6pm, evening snack at 8 or 8:30.
  • So the temptation challenge on the last episode of Biggest Loser...I'm pretty sure I just reenacted that last night, minus the hidden cash and golden ticket. And I don't think I downed 4,000 cals, but MAN! I sure went to bed in a sugar coma. NEVER AGAIN. Ugh, my body couldn't handle it. *Sigh*...new day, new day. :)
  • Oh man I totally plateaued after Christmas break and had been stagnant for a while. I couldn't figure it out - I was working out harder than before. But then I realized I changed my work out routine and my body had to adjust. Plus, I was eating all of my calories, AND stressing out because of work and financial stuff. I…
  • So true. Copy/paste the link and then you can see the picture. :) http://swissdutchess.deviantart.com/art/for-motivation-117791271
  • Someone brought donuts to work this morning, and even though I want a deliciously, sweet and soft cakey donut smothered in a thick, chocolatey, goodness glaze, I will only enjoy it for the quick minute or two it takes me to eat it, and after it will be nothing but a day of regrets and extra miles at the gym. There - talked…
  • so what did you do exactly? work out more, or eat less? i'm trying to figure out how to get over mine...
  • I would rather just flop on my bed and fall asleep, but I am going to the gym for a good workout instead. Bob and Gillian would be proud!
  • such an amazing feeling, is it not?
  • Me, too! Promise!
  • hey, thanks so much. i'll do all that for sure. that really helps. :) i have an icy hot patch on it now, and had ice on it last night.
  • So I was stretching my calf by putting my foot up against the wall and pushing my body forward, and I felt a pop in the center of my calf muscle. Now it is sore. What does that mean??? I can still walk, it just hurts a bit...
  • I totally agree, because today I don't feel like working out at all. But I am going to! If I don't, I will only spiral downward, like you said. :)

  • Don't you hate the 'i feel fat' days? That was today. I guess it didn't help that I ate bday cake. Tomorrow is new, tho, and my goal is to post my next note under the Success Story category and not the Motivation and Support! I've been putting too many whiny notes there lately...sorry about that...:)

  • sometimes i just give myself the day off and eat more than usual. then i just work hard and stay on top of things for the rest of the week...but i never eliminate things from my life. i have a piece of chocolate and a low fat dessert every night. :)
  • Ok. I don't get it. I've been running outside for about 7 months now (4-5 miles a morning) and lost a lot of weight, which came off quite fast. I hit a plateau at the beginning of the year that lasted up until a week or two ago, when I got a gym membership. I wanted to change it up, get cross training and all. For the last…
  • I know! I did the exact same thing. I LOVE the cookie dough dreyers churned ice cream, but its so fluffy and airy that I find it goes quickly. But yeah, pudding cups are a good substitute. :)
  • ooooh that sounds so good! i'm gonna try it!
  • I LOVE ice cream, and while its totally fine in moderation, I found I was eating it almost every night (just 1/2 a cup, but still). So I decided to switch to frozen jello sugar free pudding snacks, and they are amazing! They freeze a little harder than ice cream, so it is a lot slower eating one, and I feel like I'm…
  • www.thisiswhyyourefat.com The website that keeps me eating celery sticks and baby carrots. :)
  • Ok. So I am NOT having any sugar today, except for one little piece of chocolate after dinner. After all, I am swiss. :) But seriously, I really really need to cut back on sugar. I burn 500 to 800 calories a day, and I have not gotten over my plateau, and I know it is because of my eating. Also, I am switching out 1…
  • its happening to me, too! >:O I'm just trying to work out harder and eat my exercise calories. I wasn't at first, cause it felt like if I ate more than 1200 than I wouldn't loose weight, but then they said on Biggest Loser that one contestant wasn't loosing weight cause he was doing the same thing, and then when he started…
  • i was gonna buy cheerios this weekend, so this is good to know!! thx
  • I've been working at it for almost a year, but I know I could have done it a lot sooner. I started running for just 10 or 15 min, and after about 6 months I worked up to running at least 4 miles 5 or so days a week. Its totally doable, even if its just 2 or 3 times a week. Starting out small is the key, I found. :)
  • So awesome! I fell of track a bit and I am starting new this week. Your success is inspiring! :)
  • Hey! I run my first 10k next month, so I ran 7 miles today to see if I could do it and I did!!! I used to hate running, so this is a big feat for me. Now I absolutely love it! It feels great! :D
  • awesome! Its such an amazing feeling!!!!!
  • I ate too much chocolate again, guys! Tell me to stop! I lost a bunch of weight at the beginning but slacked off on my eating habits and I haven't lost any since. I know what I need to do, I just get so weak! >:0
  • oh man!
  • People make comments all the time about my eating regime. Its annoying and none of their business, and in the end its not their body that the food is going into, its mine, and I am in control of it. She may just be feeling guilty about her own weight problem and jealous that you are actually doing something about it. I…
