  • I haven't read everyone's responses so sorry if I repeat. I would take him for a walk instead of the night time nap. If he falls asleep in the stroller bonus. Or look up Ergo carriers or Beco carriers and get one of those, then you add his body weight to you. ETA-I nursed my son Maddox until he was 18 mos, and am still…
  • I use a cervical cap called a femcap. Its really easy to use, none hormonal, and doesn't bug my hubby too much. I don't use the hormones do to having 2 hormone related breast tumors already, one that was huge. I have had surgery on both breasts and am only 27. Anyways when I did use them I was a wee bit like a raving…

  • Make sure your excercise shoes are doing what they are supposed to! You might need a different pair, or some inserts. If you go to a running store (like Playmakers) they can help you get a great pair

  • For some people it is okay to continue to lose FAT while preggo, but it depends on multiple factors. If you have decent insurance just ask your OB for a referral to a nutritionist. They can help you maximize what you eat for pregnancy to keep baby and you both healthy. You only need about 300 extra calories for baby, not…

  • I have no experience with your child's condition but applaud you for being healthy and keeping him healthy. the first thing that comes to mind is making *batches* and then freezing individual portions for him. Like the spagetti exampl, you could make a batch of meatballs and then freeze them individually so that when you…
  • a lot of the recipes for resturant faves are available online. tonight i made pf chang garlic noodles. but we ate taht and a salad. instead of going and getting lettuce wraps, rice, honey chicken, and garlic noodles. so we still had a taste of the good with our healthy.

  • breastfeeding is tricky. at 10 weeks your supply may not be totally stable. if you are maxed out I would make a giant salad and use a teeny bit of dressing. also the high protein snacks like nuts are great for him through nursing so if you get a big bag portion them out and then grab one each afternoon when you nurse and a…
  • well i eat relatively healthy except for fast food/processed snack foods. so i am thinking that by cutting those and adding water it should do the trick. As far as exercise i am horribly out of shape, but i bought the 30 day shred, cardio max, and some yoga dvds, and an elliptical. so i am thinking a mix of those, and then…

  • I should add, so as not to encourage others, that my doctor only recommended i do it once for 48 hours. not consistantly, or routinely, but as a *natural* thing to try 1st

  • Will fasting help to *reset* my metabolism? my doctor recommended it, I can have clear fluids and fresh fruit if i get woozy, she said to do that for 2 days and then start eating my appropriate calories and that it would work as a jump start. what do you guys think??
