  • I agree I have both, and I prefer Zumba 2, it's amazing... and completely addicting... The first day I got it I kept going for like over an hour and realised I had burnt well over 800 cals... And yes I was sore the next day couldn't walk hehe...
  • WOW we should make a group baha... Im 5'3" too yet I may still grow... I wonder what age we stop growing? Hmmm
  • I've had shin splints I kept running and got a stress fracture, so be careful. I was told to do water running, which I did, but lost interest very quickly as slightly boring! Hope your pain goes away quickly... Apparently its a sign your doing too much and the body wants a break!
  • Sound like I did not long ago when I had anemia. Get checked cos sounds like you are lacking in iron! Otherwise an energy booster is always caffiene... or have you tried poweraide or something like that...
  • So true... can you imagine if a diet pill actually worked haha... funny... and like u said if a wonder drug for weight loss did exist it would be very expensive!
  • OMG the same thing is happening to me, and I take zinc every day... it's so annoying I can literally rip massive clumps out and it's also lost colour, not as blond and Im only 17 argghhhhhhh.... Hopefully both our hair stops falling out...
  • When I broke my foot I had a fibreglass cast, which meant I could still swim and do a lot of things. Not run though which I was gutted about YET I could do water running with a belt so I maintained my fitness and didn't gain on that occasion. I only gained the 3rd time I had an injury, just lose interest and took a…
  • Great to hear... Yeah when I get back to swimming and Im not swimming fit before I jump into a squad I like to know I can keep up so that's what I do, and also perhaps get some flippers, as thats always good for working on stroke too! Good luck with it all!
  • WOW I've read that too about choccy milk, I use to do that, but now I make smothies... like put in yoghurt, blueberries, honey etc... and sometimes I add some sustengen to it also depending on if it was a really hard session.
  • YAY that's awesome, I swim also, but do squad which is probably the best way to go once you've done a bit of swimming as it motivates you better, well it does with me... Id say the best to burn cals is INTERVAL training... so do like one fast 100m f/s and then slow 100, and so on... mix it up too with breast stroke.. back…
  • OMG I like gained a kilo the other day and I didn't go over 1200 cals, and I trained etc, don't understand. All I know is that it sucks, as it seems my 5 kilos I want to lose don't want to budge from me grrrrr... :grumble:
  • I love Jillian Michaels too... I think I may order it, yet I have so many others I am yet to try, need more hours in a day!
  • WOW so many variations. I want to get an accurate reading now. I just use my scale and it tells me 18%, yet sometimes it's 19 or 20 it's tempramental I think!
  • Yeah here you have to be 18, Ive just turned 17, so not long to go, although my coach is really fussy about distances etc... he doesn't like us doing too many road races either. But I can't wait to do a marathon hehe...
  • wow can't say I've had that problem, before a long race I usually have a Coke, yep coke, works for me. But I am not allowed to do more than a half marathon as not old enough to do a full, can't wait till I can though...
  • WOW I have coeliac, but only mildly, sounds like you have it badly. I've had it now for a few yrs, but the dr said cos of my age I can actually still grow out of it, which I am hoping... I thought it was going to be hard to try and avoid things but turns out there are sooo many nice things gluten free anyway and I feel so…
  • For my training long runs I use = ASICS (Kayano) = they are awesome. But when I race or do temp runs I like to use something lighter = I either race in Nike (Lunas) or Adidas (marathon) or Lunalitespiders.
  • OMG today I went to look at exercise dvds and there were all these ones from the Kardashians, but to me they are slightly large... I would hate watching them, much prefer someone who looks fit and healthy instructing so you can aspire to be like them, I wouldn't want to look like any of the Kardashians yikes!
  • I did it for a detox once, my skin improved heaps and I actually lost a few kilos as I did a fast for 3 days (unknown to my parentals at the time as they would come home late from work), but I felt horrible had no energy and would be realy dizzy when I would get up and almost collapsed at dancing... so not sure if it was…
