  • I don't mean to be rude but how did you measure your body fat? 20% body fat is on the high side of healthy for a male and at 300 pounds that would mean you have 240 pounds of lean body mass. Unless you're a 6'5 former body builder or something thats pretty unheard of
  • Why would you do that? There's so many people around here who've battled eating disorders and struggled on these 500 cals a day diets because of deeper mental and emotional problems. They lost so much in their lives and you want to come here and ask if it's a good idea? Have you even considered how cruel that is?
  • Are you asking if doing more exercise is healthy? LOL If you don't feel tired and eat a little bit more than it's totally fine
  • Illusion of big eyes, prominent cheekbones, general slimness, heart shaped faces, and big lips. Too bad it doesn't work
  • It's almost sad to read. While she makes legitimate points about some obese people being healthier than thin people and that your size is not the end all of health issues, those studies are made for people who are 10, 20, 30, maybe even 50 pounds overweight. They are not directed for those 100+ pds overweight, those who…
  • Don't be too worried about what other people decide to do. MFP exercises seem to be set for high intensity calorie burns, but it's not hard to familiarize yourself with your own exertion to calorie burn after a while.
  • I'm staying, sorry about the slow response last week. Thank you for doing such a great job for us. Oh and have this weeks challenges been sent yet?
  • I couldn't stomach more than half of it. It was just too sickening how the more food the writers bashed and 'willed themselves to forgo', the snobbier the writing became.
  • Change IMG to lower case?
  • Avoid bubble tea if you can, most places cram it with an unbelievable amount of sugar. If your black tea was plain then there's already a lot of entries for tapioca pearls in MFP's database
  • Eating multiple times throughout the day may not magically boost your metabolism, but I've always noticed that eating consistently keeps your energy levels up where as if you eat 1500 calories once and not eat for the next 12 hours at the end of the day you'll be exhausted. Less energy means you're motivated to do less…
  • Unless you had a significant growth spurt from 14-18 or your body type changed then there's no reason your body would decide to pick a random age to set your ideal goal at. If you work hard and keep at it, you can get to your own healthy body weight. Even if thats not 130, you'll still look good.
  • You can have a ridiculous amount of veggies for almost no calories (cucumbers, peppers, etc). It's just too bad no one craves vegetables. Your best bet would be to just exercise insanely so you can have the extra calories to eat.
  • Every morning. It can be discouraging to see water retention, but it lets me monitor my fluctuation and what to change
  • Wow, way out of line. At the very LEAST, he deserves to be banned from your gym. TBH reading a lot of the comments here bothers me. Does it really matter what someone else is wearing? How someone else is working out? Unless its directly affecting you and your workout, just look the other way and keep doing what you're…
  • Fats. Natural fats like nuts avocado and even meat are always filling to our body. Don't be scared of them!22
  • You look fine to me and if you feel fine I wouldn't be too worried. How about putting on a bit of muscle now that you've lost all that weight? That'd probably convince your family you're quite healthy.
  • Something that really helps me if finding healthy substitutes of things I already like. Personally I love watermelon and cucumber but I hate spinach so I eat what I like. Even if I want to have sweets I'll make or buy healthy versions of them. To get over fast food you have to forget about fast food. If you're already…

  • Slow down and lose 1 pound a week instead. Rushing weight loss won't do you any good in the long term. I took a quick scan through your food diary and it seems regulating your meals so that you can eat at reasonable times and eat balanced meals is the best thing you can do right now. If you treat your body properly it'll…
