Hi...you need to find what works for you. I feel it's all about knowledge. The more you know about what food contains the easier it is to control what you eat. I enjoy Zumba, walking and swimming and logging this gives me insentive to keep it up. Good luck on your journey :happy:

Baked apples and sultanas - scrummy. Just core the apples fill them with sultanas and spice and roast for an hour, you can add some brown sugar if you like, inside the apple with sultanas Delicious - good luck

I weigh myself twice a week, not as an obsession but to help me keep on track. Wednesday I weigh myself to see how I'm doing the Saturday is my true weigh in even if I've gained, it's the one I go by.

I can understand how you feel. For me it would be 'what if they don't quite fit' can be disheartening. Start by trying on the 14 in the normal store. good luck and have fun

Your story is tru for so many of us, for me it was that my children were at school and food was my company! I now weigh out food into a container of howmuch i can have day (this was when I needed to slow down on the nibbles). Now have sunflower seeds, fresh peanuts in shells, as this takes time to deshell them but still…

Men have a higher metabolism than women so he will loose quicker than you, so please don't feel disheartened by this. It may pay to llok at other things lke sodium, protein and carbs, ensure you keep a balance. Try swimming...or for belly fat sit ups should help, as previous post 'don't be impatient' do a few a day this will get the fat off rather than turning it just to muscle......good luck x

I always have a salad or make up a batch of courgette and potato soup, freeze and serve when needed :-0) Of course you could also do a Jacket potato in the mircowave ??

Favablue...thanks for that very informative information...I will do further research. I don't have a lot of sugar, however this would answer why I had problems with my potassium when I was pregnant as all I could eat was apple pie...lots of sugar in apple pie. Thank you very much x

Thanks Editara...really can't drink milk as it makes me urge but I know you're right about it being the best source. Gonna try more green veg espically spinach and someone has said almond milk so am going to look out for that. Many thanks for all your posts xx

Depends if you're having a start or dessert as well but though Basil linguini, sautéed lobster, sweet peas, alla carbonara Atlantic salmon, golden potato puree, rhubarb vinaigrette, radish salad Have what you fancy if you don't go out very often just do some extra walking or seimming or something Have a fab night :-0) x
