I am 5'10" and my goal is 150 lbs. I have lost 20 pounds so far (started at 190). It all depends on your frame for what your ideal weight is. I have a medium frame. Dropping clothes sizes is a great motivator. I've kissed my XL clothes goodbye and am wearing mostly mediums now. You'll get there!

I work out most weeks but I find as long as I don't go over calories I still lose weight the weeks I don't. I do it mostly for toning and to boost my metabolism. My friend lost 80 pounds without exercising at all. Try both for a few weeks. It is about what works best for you.

Breyers fat free vanilla is very delicious and only 90 calories a scoop. It tastes so good you feel like you are being naughty! I've tried all the above listed here and hands down Breyers fat free is the best tasting and allows you to eat the most per serving.

Most diet foods are pretty gross. If you're going to spend the money, buy a bagged salad at the grocer and keep low fat dressing in the fridge at work. That is what I do. However, I really like the Lean Cuisine sandwiches. Those are pretty good. I like the flatbreads and the other sandwiches. I would try those. The other…

I have struggled with my weight for 3 years-- since I got married and have been eating my meals with my husband. Frankly, he did not eat the best and was accustomed to large portions. At his previous job, he essentially "worked out" all day loading and unloading trucks. I found it hard to eat healthy and lose weight since…

Fabulous! You look great. I hope to look as lovely when I reach 10 in a week or so and 20 pounds lost just like you in a month. Fingers crossed! You should be proud!

Way to go! You look awesome and your determination and success is inspiring!

Awesome story. I also am most proud of my NSV. I have only lost 5 pounds since joining, but when I started, this former track star couldn't walk a mile in my hilly neighborhood without needing a break. A month later I am jogging it. JOGGING it. And it is because I never gave up. Tonight, I will be JOGGING 2 miles. It may…

Excellent job! You look great! Congratulations! Stories like yours motivate me to keep going.

People who say those sort of things just delight in torturing others. And for men especially, commenting negatively on a woman's weight seems to be their nastiness of choice. When I was 30 pounds thinner -- well within a healthy weight-- a boy at my college called me a "fat ***** who needed to walk" because he tried to cut…

You look great. Your story is really inspiring. Congratulations on all your hard work!

Awesome recipe and thanks for posting the database calories. So many people on here post recipes and then when you go to make them you find out they are WAY more calories than they indicated, which can be so disappointing. Glad to see a delicious treat with a doable calorie level. Awesome!

Do they have a menu online? If so, check it out ahead of time and run some of the menu items through the database. I was recently at a hometown bar and found someone entered much of the info which was a pleasant surprise. Anything that is not fried should be easy to calculate. A salad or soup is usually a safe option. As a…

I am also 5'10" and am aiming for 150. It's within healthy weight for all frames and I think is a good, attainable number with some work. Anything lower than that, I would talk to my doctor. Good Luck!

I am not sure your calorie count is right on this. I bought the ingredients and logged it into MFP and it came out to 354 calories per serving if you make 6 servings. Still a great meal with a big portion, but not quite as low-calorie as listed here. This is based on using instant white rice and the 98% soups from Kroger…
