One pound is equal to 3500 calories. So if you only have a 100 calorie deficit per day it would take you 35 days to loose 1 pound. So if your BMR is 1700 & you eat 1200 you would loose about 1 pound a week. 500 calore defict per day times 7 days=3500 calories.

Are you weighing first thing in the morning? I always weight first thing in the morning. Increase your water & you see if you loose it again. I don't think it's possible to gain that much in just a few days. one pound is 3500 calories so you would have to be doing some MAJOR eating to gain 9 pounds in just a few days.…

If your not going to the bathroom every hour-hour & half then drink more. I was drinking 8-10 8oz a day & just increased my intake to about 20/8oz a day & my weight loss has increased greatly. it should not take more than 1 day. You may want to keep track of your sodium intake as well.

Just drinklk a Ton of water for 1 week & when the weight starts going down it will be much easier!! You will want to drink it!

take your weekly total (1200 per day times 7 days.= 8400 calories) As long as you total that at the end of the week you should be OK. 1100 one day-1300 the next.

It does work!! I have started doing this myself & it has me loosing weight again. I feel your pain! Weekends are soo hard. Staying under my calorie goal is no problem till the weekend rolls around:drinker: & I have beers. I have found a 55 calorie beer that helps but I still go over! I just try to work out extra on the weekends to compensate some!

:smile: excellent point!! I never eat mine and I have hit a platu for about 3 weeks. Maybe I will start eating part of them & see if that helps!

You should have 1 cheat meal (or day even) evrey week- it tricks your body. i have a cheat day on the weekend & it works well for me.
