I have the same issues and I run it under tap water too. Exercises that are supposed to burn 600 calories an hour only burn 300 for me when I push myself hard. I know my metabolism isn't that low. It is annoying.

I have the Polar F4. It doesn't have a pedometer but I have been using a separate pedometer for years and they last way longer than the heart rate monitor for about $12.00. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I recorded my calories in myfitnesspal.com when I used to take Body Pump at the gym. It was usually ranging between 150-300 calories depending on the time and the instructor. They say you can burn 600 an hour but I think my metabolism is sluggish especially when doing an AM class. Hope this helps.

yes you can do it. I didn't think I could either but found myself doing the kettlebell workout level 1 and the regular shred level one on the same day last week. My butt and abs are screaming in a good way. I love Jillian.

I had the same experience as Sister. It is expensive for only having a circuit. I am having much more success at home with DVD's than I have ever had in any gym but I am also a homebody.

I find it is best to add extra cardio like walking to it. It is a great workout.

The spinn instructor will help you with your bike etc. The classes are fun too. I used to do a lot of spinn before I quit the gym. Now I go to the thrift store and buy different dvd's and videos and am not bored at all.

600 calories for an hour of spinn is farely accurate if you are going at it very hard.
