you can definitly increase your muscle weight when you start to increase excercise , the muscle will become more dense and hold more blood and nutrients , you can tell by the hardness of the muscle along with the size.

I do the retire early to bed thing too but when I do snack it will be light cool whip and non fat yogurt mix , sometimes I throw in some cinnamon toast crunch for texture

you may need to adjust your calories according to your workouts , I usually lose with a net of 1000k a day I will eat 1600 and burn 600 , if I burn 1000 and eat 1200 the plateau will start

oh yeah I am on week 2 of doing couch to 5k , I was running .5 miles a day before I started but this method will train you on longer distances

when did you break the wall ? I cant remember if it was after 4 weeks. I was able to run no problem and skip some of the walking prompts

don't forget to train your legs at the gym , this will help with the running , I do hi rep lower weight to build endurance and rest the legs when they are sore , running on your legs before they are healed is painful and I feel like its counteractive.

while you are learning to run , don't concentrate on your speed so much , the legs need to get used to running. hopefully you have running shoes. I am back to doing that couch to 5k as well. I was just doing .5 mile at the gym before each workout and doing 1.5 now my legs are feeling the extra time/distance and pounding ,…

if you are under 1200 calories , perhaps you need to up the calories , add 100 calories every 2 days until you see progress , then you will know where your body is comfortable in weight loss

I am the same way over the weekend , I try to spend more time at he gym Saturday to make up for it , but that doesn't work out too well . I will break even most of the time , other times 1-2 lbs gained over the weekend which really isn't worth the drinking/snacking
