Never give up. The process of losing weight and getting healthy isn't a temporary arrangement, it's a lifetime change and what that means is that you'll have good days and bad. But when you have that splurge on one day, it doesn't mean that day is ruined. Pick right up on healthier eating for the next meal. Don't wait for…

Keto is an all or nothing sort of diet. If you eat keto with one meal and not the next, it'll kick you out of ketosis and in general, will make you feel ill. But really, unless you have a lot of weight to lose, Keto isn't necessary. But if you want to go the keto route you need to make sure you've got your macros right.…

Sure you can add a scoop or two. You just might need to add a little extra water. I've added protein powder to pancake mix and they were delicious.

Welcome to mfp! I can relate. I moved to SC from VA and somewhere along the way found myself at more than 250 lbs. On a 5'3" frame that's a bit much but since joining mfp I'm down to just under 200 now. My husband is 6'3" with an awesome metabolism (unfair) but that's okay. It's not easy losing weight and being a foodie...…

I've been using the Nuva Ring for a few years now and I love it. I was never very good with taking a pill at the same time everyday so this works well for me. Another perk is that if you're ever sick and need antibiotics the ring is still effective. I didn't experience any weight gain. I've managed to lose about 85 pounds…

Around 120 pounds but we'll see when I get closer. Might stop at 130 if I like how I look and feel.

I think I do end up having to eat less than people without PCOS but it helps to reduce refined carbs and processed foods in general. These days I'm eating 1350-1600 calories and burning anywhere between 300-800 calories in the gym. When I don't go to the gym I try to keep my calorie intake between 1200-1400. The weight…

I have many but the one that sticks out in my head is when I was at my grandmother's funeral I had lost around 20 pounds up to that day. My uncle walked up to me and said "see I knew there was a pretty girl in there somewhere." The sad thing was he meant it as a compliment...

I was 19 and in college when he proposed to me. He was 2 years older than me and we had been dating for just under a year. We waited until he graduated to get married almost 5 years ago so we've been married 5 years in June and together for a total of 9 years. (Yes we're still together) I was 22 when we got married.

Everyday too. I can't help myself. I know they say you should only do it once a week but I just can't go more than a day or 2 without stepping on the scale. It's addictive

I grew up in a very Catholic house and went Pagan for a while. Now I'm mostly an agnostic with Buddhist tendencies if that makes sense. But I do love studying various religions.

I'm the same way so I try not to eat back my exercise calories. If I eat more than half of them back I plateau. I figure it's either something to do with my metabolism or maybe the number of calories the machines say I burned isn't accurate. Either way, I do whatever works for me.

I take the Flintstones complete vitamins with lunch. I used to take adult multivitamins but they used to give me a really bad stomach ache whether I ate them with food or not. So far this works really well for me.

I'm a house wife with no children at the moment and when I started I had a little more than 100 pounds to lose. Please feel free to add me. I would love to have friends that will hold me accountable and I'll be happy to do the same for you.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. No more boring playlist for me:bigsmile:

Don't beat yourself up over it. You had an off day and tomorrow will be better. Maybe you could put a little extra time in the gym tomorrow but I wouldn't recommend eating under 1200 calories what with the risk of pushing yourself into starvation mode.

I'm 27, 5'3" and I have quite a bit more weight to lose but I'd love to have more friends so feel free to add me if you'd like :-)

Generally speaking, Rogan Josh is usually healthier than the Tikka. It's tomato based but doesn't have the amount of cream Tikka has while still being delicious. I would definitely try cooking Indian food at home. It's actually pretty easy once you have the spices you need (which you can find on amazon if you don't have a…
