Welcome!
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10392843/women-with-50-100-lbs-to-lose/p1 After being inspired by this thread, I decided to make a group for women who have 50+ lbs to lose to come together to support each other, share our fears, and commiserate and celebrate with. Head down to the discussions to introduce…

Victories
I had some small victories yesterday. I hope they inspire you to share yours and have your own! I don't trust myself to have a lot of snacks in the house because I'll just binge eat them. I knew I needed to run to the supermarket after work yesterday, and I was starving by 6, and all I could think about was cheezits and…

Starting Over
Hello and welcome, lets get this awkward intro post out of the way, shall we? I'm 28. I'm 5'0. I'm 202.8 as of this morning. I haven't worked out in ages. I haven't logged my food nor really cared what I've eaten. I've taken on a very kind of blase, "why bother" attitude about a lot of things. I come home from my stressful…

What SMALL thing did you do today to help with your journey?
We all know losing weight isn't about dieting, it's about life style changes, and the appropriate way to make those changes is usually baby steps to help prevent you from reverting back to your old ways. So let's keep a running thread of small changes we made today that'll help us in the long run. I've been getting better…

What are you looking for?
So happy to see how much this group has grown in a short amount of time! We're here together because we have a common goal: to lose a lot of weight. We have a post to introduce ourselves and a post for mini goals, but what else would you like to see here? Weekly challenges? Fitness and health articles? Celebrations when…

Mini Goals
Having one giant goal of losing 50, 100, 150lbs can be overwhelming. It's much less scary to break up said giant goal into smaller goals! Post yours here, and let us know your progress!

Tips & Tricks
What tips and tricks have you picked up while playing or read online? Here's mine - save all your evolutions and trading in until you have a lucky egg. The lucky egg lasts for 30 mins and doubles your xp. You can make some serious xp if you do a whole bunch of evolutions with a lucky egg!

2lbs of chuck roast for slow cooker - ideas?
I'm currently defrosting ~2ish lbs of chuck roast that I plan on throwing in my slow cooker tomorrow or Thursday. I had a recipe in mind, but after looking at the nutritional value, I'm more meh about it now. I'm trying to keep it low carb (fat/protein aren't going to be an issue). I'm not feeling particularly inspired at…

Introduce Yourself!
Hey everyone, I'm Lissy. I'm 26, a desk jockey in New York, and a happy cat momma. I was inspired to start this group after reading a thread for women with 50+lbs to lose. Some days it seems really daunting, even impossible, to lose this much weight. But it can happen, and it will, one step at a time :) Starting Weight:…

Thank You
Hey guys, I took a break from MFP over the past two weeks because I had to concentrate on moving, packing, unpacking, all that fun stuff. I'm happy to return and see this group has grown! I also want to say thank you to those who have posted, made suggestions, started new threads, offered advice... During my break I didn't…

Ladies with 50+lbs to lose!
I made a support group for us to come together, offer support and help, celebrate and commiserate with! It's gonna be a long journey ahead, so why not make it with friends who are in the same boat? http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/114163-women-with-lots-to-lose-and-everything-to-gain

Ladies - do you gain weight during YTOTM?
So I got my period on Saturday and didn't quite eat as well as I could have (but that bacon cheeseburger was so good!). I also felt bloated and gross which, of course, is normal. I'm just curious... do you gain weight during your period (whether or not you eat well), and about how much?

For Real This Time
So once I hit 200+ (something I promised myself I never would do), I got really sad, angry, and hopeless. I've refused to step on a scale again until this morning, when I realized ignoring my weight not only didn't help, but was making it worse. So I clocked in at 216.8 this morning, the heaviest I've been. And I promise…
