Jeans for petite curvy ladies (through hip and thigh)
Here is my problem. I'm 5'1 (and a 1/2) and I have a small waist but I have a round butt and heavier thighs. I cannot find jeans anywhere that fit my body! I have a decent pair of curvy levi's that fit well but are not super stylish. Whenever I go out, I wear dress pants because they fit me better. I just want to dress up…

What was I thinking??
While I love to exercise, I have never been good at running. So what possibly could have possessed me to sign up for a five mile mud run? Maybe it was the excitement of being able to play in the mud with a great group of people? Maybe it was the fact that a friend was recently diagnosed with MS and this run would benefit…

Ever have one of those days?
Ok, I am 37 years old and having a complete set back. I had some health problems creep up on me, and needed to back off on the workouts for a little while. I was doing P90X last year at this time and LOVED it. I am doing better, health wise. I got the clearance from my doctor to work out again, which I have been…

Lack of Support at home/Need to vent
Talk about lack of support. I have always enjoyed working out, but have done it pretty much daily since Sept. 2011. Last night after my first P90X workout, my husband said to me "What are you aiming for anyway? Do you think you are going to get ripped or something?" He was very sarcastic about it. I know he doesn't want to…

P90X question
I just did "shoulders and arms" for the first time tonight and I was wondering how to log it under exercise?I do not have a working HRM at the moment. Most of my other workouts I put under circuit training. This just didn't seem like it belonged there. Thanks in advance!

Dinner ideas
I come from a big meat and potato family. I love my veggies and can do without meat. I am trying to encourage my family to become healthier too. The problem is that I am running out of ideas. I have looked up lots of recipes online, but what I really want is for someone to tell me what they make, that tastes good enough…

Protein shakes?
I am not the kind of person to drink my calories, but I have been hearing a lot about protein shakes. I tend to have Cheerios for breakfast, so I know I should have more protein. Does anyone have any advice on what I should be looking for? I want something that doesn't taste bad or I won't stick with it.

Low calorie lunch ideas
I am on 1200 calories a day and I am getting bored with my current lunches. Does anyone have any low calorie lunch ideas? What are some of your favorites?

How much protein/fat/carbs??
My daily calories are set to 1200 per day at the moment. This is based on losing 1 lb. per week. I stay within my range and eat back most of my exercise calories. I have not lost any weight for at least a month. I am maintaining though. I have been using the guidelines given to me by MFP. I know some people customize their…

I am stuck in a rut...
I joined MFP in September and have lost 11 pounds since. I have been eating within my calorie range (and eating back most of my exercise calories). I am even working out more than my projected goal. I have my goal set to lose 1lb per week, but I have not lost anything since the beginning of December. Does anyone have any…

Putting myself out there
So, I am normally someone that keeps to myself, but I am really beginning to change my lifestyle. The truth is, I have always struggled with accepting "me". I have struggled with low self esteem my whole life, although I don't know if the people closest to me would really know that. Growing up, I never felt like I was good…

Cutting out processed foods
I am having trouble losing weight even though I am within my calorie range and I am working out. I do eat a lot of processed foods though. Does anyone have any suggestions on other alternatives. My weakness is my 1/2 cup of ice cream at night. I see a lot of people mention greek yogurt (which I do like) but I can't seem to…

Help Wanted, lol!
I have been on MFP for a little over a month and have lost 6 lbs so far. I am looking for support and friends to help keep me motivated and on track.
