Lost: Double Chin, Reward Offered
Please note: reward can only be claimed by new owner if they promise to KEEP the double chin and never send it back my way! I try and post pics here every so often because this forum is what kept me going when I first started seriously doing MFP in January 2013. I would look at the posts, some old threads and see people…

UK size 22 to size 12!
Last week I found a dress I fell in love with - this rarely if ever happens to me! Unfortunately the only sizes were a 10 (us 6) and a 6 (us 2). I'm a UK 14-16 (us 10-12). I searched everywhere online and in all the local stores I could. Got all my Facebook friends checking their local stores for me. No luck. :-( Well at…

Me + 10 year old = Fat Pants :)
Just thought this might make some of you laugh... I pulled out my 'fat pants' to show a friend and figured maybe I could fit my 10 year old in too. So, I did. :D

Just one quick picture (almost 80lb down)
First pic I wasn't even as heavy as my starting weight - I was roughly 250lbs when that pic was taken (and started this journey last year at 270lbs). Note the walking stick - I had fibromyalgia and walking hurt! Now I go to 4 classes a week and lift weights 3 times a week. :)

Please be kind... bikini shot without the bikini body! -78lb
OK first a disclaimer. I KNOW I don't have a bikini body. No need to tell me, I am well aware of it! A little back story, I had hubby take these pics of me in a cheap bikini in 2010 so I could see what I really looked like. I was horrified, but still didn't make any changes in my life... I only started changing my life…

Is anyone still here?
I'm new to being plant strong and joined but I see it's been 2 months since anyone posted.. :)

From 270lbs to ONEDERLAND!!! First time in 9 years!
Last time I weighed a number starting with one I was newly pregnant with my son, who is 9 in August. I am SO HAPPY! In fact, you might all have heard me shouting from the rooftops when I saw 199lbs on the scale this morning! I started this journey in January 2013 and I've kicked Fibromyalgia in the butt as well. I now eat…

Exercising after surgery - anyone BTDT?
I'm having my gallbladder out on 10th march, hopefully via keyhole surgery. If anyone has had this or a similar surgery, how did you workout afterwards? I want to get back to normal as soon as possible. 4 times a week I do a class and lift weights afterwards.

1yr on MFP, down 67lbs!
Well it's my 1 year anniversary (or was a week or so ago). Thank you to everyone on this site for making it what it is! I would've struggled much more without the support and advice of MFP'ers. I've come a long way in my journey and am now eating a whole foods plant based diet. I started a year ago at 270lbs, with…

My Video Success Story
Hope it's OK to share this here, it's not the traditional picture post... today for some reason I decided to gather lots of photos from the last 18mos and put them in a folder, sort by date, and watch as a slideshow. It was while I was watching it that I saw the 'Create a Movie' option, and now here we are... It may not…

Hi everyone
Is this group very active? I just watched Forks Over Knives recently. :)

From the beginning of the year to the end... minus 60+lbs!
This year has seen me completely change my life. I started it weighing 270lbs or thereabouts, miserable, and in pain all the time from fibromyalgia. I'm ending it down at 207/208lbs feeling amazing, exercising regularly (and loving it!) and eating completely differently too. My fibro is gone! Thank the Lord, it was so hard…

Injury getting me down - just need some encouragement
Firstly, I just want to say, I AM NOT GIVING UP! I will stick at this no matter what. With that said, I just feel a bit down today. After years and years of eating very unhealthily and not exercising I am finally getting fit and healthy. I feel so much better in general, my fibromyalgia is basically gone! However, I feel…

Some better pictures of 50lb down (help?)
I look at these after pictures and think, really, I do NOT look that slim in real life! Does anyone else feel that way? It seriously doesn't even look like me (to me)! The first pictures were taken when I had already lost 21lbs. I don't have anything comparable from my starting weight, unfortunately, because I would LOVE…

50lbs down!
I still have a long way to go but people are really noticing the difference now. :) I workout 2-3 times a week and try to swim and walk on other days as well.

32lbs down, w/ fibromyalgia!! Pics.
I encourage everyone starting out to take pics so you can compare. I don't feel that different, though I know I'm fitting into smaller clothes etc. I just compared pics with some I took over a year ago when I was starting 30 Day Shred (an injury had me stopping a week in). Just thought I'd share. Only 32lbs down, still a…

DVD recommendations please?
Recommend me a good workout DVD? Ideally one that is more about strength than cardio, and low impact on knees! I like things that use your own body weight to work you out... I also have 5lb dumbbells, but no other weights or anything. Any suggestions? I've got 30DS but I can feel my knee beginning to flare up even though…

Almost 30lbs down, check out the difference in 5 weeks!
WOW, I was stunned to see the difference in 5 weeks, I really didn't think I'd changed that much! So that was only about 10lbs ago but look how much I've changed! I've still got a long way to go but I know I can do this!

1/5 of the way there, but look what a difference it makes!
Just wanted to encourage those of you who feel that your hard work doesn't show yet... I bet it does! I didn't think I had changed that much, only a couple of people have noticed, however, I can really see now that I have! Firstly, my old shorts... these are shorts I bought the first time I lost weight, about 10yrs ago. A…

LIDL Workout Bench - a good starter buy?
I've just started reading NROLFW and I got a dumbbell set. However I saw this bench on offer in Lidl today and the price seems good. I have space for it so what's the verdict - a decent starter buy? http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_38962.htm

260lb girl looking for motivating friends :)
Hi everyone My profile has the short version of my story. I've been loving the Success Stories forum. I've used MFP on and off for a couple of years but never for long. I feel like I'm addicted to it now.. I love logging what I eat and staying under my calories for the day. I'm just making much better choices than I used…
