Tell me why the exercise bike is worth it?
I rotate cardio on the elliptical , treadmill and the bike. I can get over the deficit in calorie burn between the elliptical and treadmill, but the bike just seems like wasted time... the calorie burn is less than a third of what I can get on the other machines. It's just not worth it to eat out
I have been eating at home since we got back into our house (after a month of living in a hotel!) Went to Jersey Mike's today and got a turkey sub, no mayo, no oil, no cheese. I thought that was a good choice. Came home to log it only to find out that it was STILL 500 calories! It's really irritating.

looks like sugar is more important than fat...
I have noticed that the sugar allowance is very low and I often go over mine just by having breakfast. Even if I have a "healthy" cereal and a piece of fruit, I have blown my sugar allotment for the day. In comparrison, my fat allowance seems really high and I rarely meet it. Has anyone else noticed this?

my arms hurt SO bad...
I had my second workout with my new trainer on Friday. I think we WAY overdid it. My arms (the top side of my elbows, not the joint but the inside of my elbows) hurts so bad that I can't straighten my arms. The left is way worse than the right. 1 week going Vegetarian and...
I have lost 2 lbs.! :bigsmile: I have noticed a HUGE decrease in my appetite too (probably from all of the fiber). The first couple of days were tough, but now I truly don't even miss meat. I hope the weight loss continues!!

working out with asthma and bad back?
So I am starting out with 2 strikes against me. Really bad asthma and a bad disc in my lower back that will require surgery in the near future. I get in a great routine of working out and then I will have an asthma flare or my back will go out. I know both problems will get better if I lose weight. Help!

oops... I only have 620 calories left
for the day. Maybe I should just go back to bed! DH brought me a LF blueberry muffin from Dunkin Donuts this morning (I wasn't feeling well, so he was being sweet) I had that and a glass of 2% milk. Looks like soup or salad for lunch and a grilled porkchop and broccoli and salad for dinner. No snacks.

I have to go for my yearly checkup this morning, so I don't get my coffee! I hate that! I am not looking forward to hearing my stats (cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure etc) but maybe it will help motivate me even more.
