Weight Loss via Yoga?
Is it possible? Everyone in my yoga class (besides me) is thin/fit. I realize most of them probably have active lifestyles, but is it possible to lose weight with yoga+healthy eating? I really enjoy it, and I don't have a whole lot of time to squeeze in exercise on top of that.

Losing inches, not pounds? Read this!
Okay I found this article after searching around as to why I've lost a grand total of...0.7 pounds in the THREE WEEKS I've been reducing calories and exercising (4-8 miles walking 4-5 times per week+calisthenics) and while I've gone from a 12 to a 10, I was still frustrated. Then I read this:…

Working out at Night
Is it really 'bad' to work out at night? I figure it's better than nothing (my toddler wakes up easily in the morning, so I'm finding it easier to work out right after she goes to sleep at night) but am I getting the same benefit as morning exercisers? I've read so many arguments on this...x.x

Harder Video or Take it Slow?
Is it better to try a difficult video and just do what you can and build up to following along perfectly, or start out nice 'n slow? Even Zumba kicks my butt right now...which is embarrassing-when I was younger Tae Bo was a piece of cake for me! I really enjoy that one but am also interested in Insanity with Shaun T,…

C Section bellies?
I had a c section 18 months ago, and was told the only way to get rid of the super awesome 'apron' was plastic surgery. Then i've read online that it may be possible with a really good workout and diet regimine. Has anyone had success with this? My tummy's always been an issue, but not to this extent, but I really don't…

I genuinely believe I have a chocolate addiction
I always say, if I hated candy, I wouldn't have a weight issue. But that's a pretty lame excuse. I work at a hospital on multiple units, and around this time until after the holidays, there are candy buckets EVERYWHERE full of delicious things...Twix, M&Ms, Snickers...gah! I work overnights, when things are slower, which…

Any Graveyard Shifters Here?
There are many things that contribute to my weight gain-pregnancy, quitting smoking, a real relationship, but I also think my 12 hour 7pm-7am shift I started taking on two years ago has helped. I eat during the day before I go to work, then go to work and eat all night. Especially because things are slow and I get bored.…

Favorite Healthy Snacks?
I'll start. :D Rice cakes-I know these are known to be boring, but I find the chocolate ones delicious, and the cheddar ones are good for cheetos fans! Only 60 calories for the large ones, they take a bit to munch on. Miso dressing+Snap peas and Carrot chips-I found this at my local Asian market, Whole foods carries it as…

21, mom, student, full-time employee, girlfriend....wooo
Hello there! I actually joined about a week ago, just haven't posted here, yet. My boyfriend and I are trying to get healthy together, and so far so good! I've had many failed attempts to lose weight since I had my child 18 months ago (it's a bit late to blame baby weight...I know, I know, lol) in which pregnancy I gained…
