Protein. Minus the soy
So I am looking for a good protein powder for my breakfast shakes. The few that I have heard good things about have soy in them. I've recently been hearing a lot of negative things about a soy heavy diet. Does anyone know of a low carb protein powder that does NOT have soy in it?

protein/fruit/veg shake
So I struggle at lunch to get my protein in and I'm always too high in carbs. So I'm thinking about starting to make shakes for lunch now. I drink light vanilla soy milk. so I figured I could mix that, with some fruits (any veg suggestions), some sort of protein powder/shake stuff ? Any recommendations or receipes?

Hello!!
I'm so glad I was told about this group! I'm just trying to lose 10-14 pounds. I'm 5'5.5 and 134. I've been so tired of hearing everyone complain about me being obsessed, not eating enough etc etc. Cleaned out my friends list and added people with my goals. So happy to see there are more people on here with my goals. Feel…

This has been the plan for 6 weeks. and for the past 2 weeks I've been following a workout routine. HAVENT LOST A POUND. grrrrr. so i realize I haven't been tracking my sugars. and then…

What are your measurements??
Okay. I have never done measurements of my body. But whenever I discuss my height weight etc people are stunned at how "heavy" I am. I guess I carry the weight well? This of course makes me feel like they are just being kind though. I'm finally going to do measurements tomorrow morning to get to the facts! So what are your…

twenty-somethings/overtime workers
I need to be more active on here. I am thinking that I would be more encouraged if I had more friends in similar categories that I am in. I'm 24, have a job that I never work only 40 hours at. I'm not in the overweight range (per the charts) but want to lose weight still. anyone in those categories who need support from…

How much does food weigh?
Not looking for exact number lol. Here's the deal. Tuesday I allowed myself a cheat and brought my hair dresser and myself chick fil a breakfast as a thank you for squeezing me in. I knew it would be a lot and I'd make up for it later. So Thursday I weigh myself just curious (weigh ins are friday). I'm up 1lb. WHAT?! One…

Motivation is strange places.
Like... knowing my ex boyfriend will be in town next weekend. I immediately threw away the brownie I was about to eat and made a mental note to do some cardio today. smh. the strangeness of how our minds work.

Vacation/drinking
so I am taking a "middle of the semester from hell" vacation this weekend. haha Going to spend time with a friend in Florida. Any suggestions on healthier options for drinking? My FL friends are big partiers. Just seeing if I have any options other than icky lite beer! haha. Don't tell me not to drink. Thats not helpful.

(not into vigorous workouts…

High Protein intake
So I'm inputting everything I eat and almost every day I go over my protein goal. usually 15-30g over. Is this going to inhibit my ability to lose weight? I eat a breakfast bar that has 6-8g in it, then usually a sandwich for lunch and dinner always has meat in it. I never thought I would be eating too many g of protein.

OxyElite Pro
Any users? What are you experiences? thoughts? I just started using it yesterday. I am a full time student and work nearly full time. So I was in need of an energy booster since I've recently started working out, and an appetite suppressant since my stomach needs shrinking, (too much overeating)! lol So far no complaints!…
