Cheat day on Atkins?
Is it possible to have a cheat day ( or even a cheat meal) on Atkins? I'm starting up again and I know I want to stay in Induction a week or so longer and I"m just curious if I can go out to dinner for my husband's birthday on the second and enjoy a nice dinner with some treats I normally wouldn't have.

Elliptical workout using arms only?
I see some women at my gym who will stand flat on the sides of the eliptical and use their arms to push the arm bars of the machine without actually getting on it. I'm curious...what is this supposed to do? Does anyone reccommend it?

Rowing machine
I'm trying to vary my cardio workouts so I've switched from the elliptical to the rowing machine. Today is my second day and my lower back is sore but that's about it. Anybody have any good experiences? Is it worth the switch?

I have to work out after I get out of work due to my hectic schedule. I usually get to the gym around 5:30 and leave about 7. Is it bad to go over your recommended protein? I had always heard that you can have more protein as long as you are working out, otherwise it will store as fat. Any thoughts?
