Post your pic and height and have other guess your weight.
I'll admit, I started this because I wonder how much I look like I weigh. I'll be happy to comment on other people's pictures though. The only thing I ask in this thread is that we be honest with our best guess instead of trying to flatter people. Ok here goes! 5'5" I want to lose another 30 lbs.

Hip to waist ratio. Post your's and pictures!
Im interested to see what women of all sizes look like and what their hip to waist ratio is. You can calculate yours at http://www.bmi-calculator.net/waist-to-hip-ratio-calculator/ Studies suggest it is a better indication of health than BMI. It is also believed to be a measure of beauty (in women). So show me yours!

132 lbs down + 6 months of weightlifting.
So I have not lost weight in a little over a year. I've posted my loss-success story before, but I wanted to share the additional progress weightlifting has brought to my life. STATS: SW: 270 GW: 130 CW: 140 5'6", 26 years old. I lost the first 60 lbs without exercising at all, just counting calories. After that I added…

And this is why you buy a Hear Rate monitor. Ignore machines
This much of a disparity could ruin someone's perceived caloric deficit.

Weight lifting butt progress, Can you tell a difference?
So I;ve been lifting for 5 months now. I "officially" decided to take progress pictures every 3 months, but I actually take them about every month or two to see how I'm doing. I originally started weightlifting because after I lost 132 lbs, my butt was totally gone. The first picture was before lifting, the 2nd one is 3…

How much weight does it look like I lost between these pics?
I'm curious to see how effective weightlifting is in making people look smaller/tighter. I love it, and I already know it helps a lot, but I came across an old pic of me that I took during my weight loss journey, and a pic of me now. How much weight would you guess I lost between these pictures?

How much does it look like I weigh?
I've had people telling me recently, that I don't look my weight. I tend to disagree with them. I'm curious if they are just being nice, or that I actually don't look my weight, I'm 5'5", how much do you think I look like I weigh?

Knowing When to Quit?
Knowing when to quit Well I think I have discussed this subject with several of you before, but I find myself again contemplating what my goal weight/bf%/measurements should be. This post is going to be long, with a lot of pictures, but I appreciate you guy's inputs very much. I don't think I could have gotten this far in…

Night owls, how do you divide up your days?
I know this isn't a very important question. I think as long as you are consistent about when your "day" starts and ends, it doesn't really matter. Still, I wonder, out of curiosity, does a new day start for you at the stroke of midnight? When the sun comes up? When it goes down? When you wake up from sleeping? For me, my…

Guys, I'm really happy.
(NOTE: I realize this is going to come off as cheesy, but I wish I had been able to read something like this when I started my journey. ) I've seen it several time on here. People who lose the weight, only later to realize that even when they are no-longer overweight, that they are not happy. Many of us who have been…

How much of a difference does ten pounds make?
So I'm nearing my final goal weight (As far as I know!) When I started, my goal was just to not be obese. Then it was to not be overweight. Now I want to be dead-center of a healthy BMI range, which for me, at 5'5" would be 130 lbs. I'm at 140 right now. I still feel a little pudgy though. I'm not sure if that is because I…

Question for girls around the 130-150 weight range
I'm 5'5" and currently 145 lbs. I have always been really big up until recently. I have lost 125 lbs, so being in a healthy BMI bracket is very new to me. I find myself 15 pounds away from my goal weight. I am so much happier with the way I look now than I was before, but I'm wondering if maybe I should lower my goal…

First off, I would like to say sorry for posting progress updates so often. When ever I hit a goal, I always just feel so excited that I want to share. Many of you have read my story before, so I'll keep it short-ish. I started at 270 lbs, I am now at 148. Only 18 more pounds to lose to get to goal. It's taken me more or…

Snacks to Get You Through The Day. (around 100 calories)
I find that often times if I let myself get too hungry, I am prone to eventually snap and over-eat. Whether you are saving calories for a big dinner with your family or a party at the end of a day, or just need something to "hold you over" when you are hungry, but already close to your calorie goal for the day, these…

Need help with inspiring my significant other
So when my boyfriend and I met, we were both pretty big. I was bigger than he was though. He was about 230-240 lbs at 5'7” and I was 256 lbs at 5'5”. He loved me instantly even though I was so big. We both shared a love of food and a desire to lose weight. Even though he is big, he has always been very fit. He is in the…

My first NSV that has ever really excited me!!!
I think before I started my weight loss journey, I have never felt my collar bones, let alone seen them! My boyfriend is always grabbing at them because he knows it weirds me out. (Still I secretly love it...) Not sure why this has been so exciting for me, but it is.

Found a picture of my face at my highest weight. (progress)
I had posted my "face difference" pictures before but the before picture was not taken at my highest weight. I have also since lost about 15 more lbs. I just stumbled across a picture that was taken at my highest weight. This is what an 85 pound difference looks like in my face!

Staying away from the sweets
It's Halloween so I figured this was appropriate. How are you going to stay away from the candy? I'm "lucky." I have medical conditions and am on medication that, as a side effect, make my body react poorly to sugar. (Sort of like a diabetic except I don't actually have diabetes) It might sound like it sucks, but after 3-4…

I know at 199, I'm still obese. Still, I started this diet at 256. My highest weight was 270. It feels good to be at 199! Only 49lbs to goal. I'm over the hump. I am especially pumped because after a 3 week plateau, I lost a total of 5lbs this week.

Down 54 LBS, I think I see it most in my face!
I never let people take pictures of me but here is one right before I started losing weight. My friend snapped it when I wasn't looking so It's a bad picture, but you can still see the difference from then and now. It's amazing what four months can do! http://i46.tinypic.com/2aeo8hy.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/22j6nb.jpg…
