Staying away from the sweets

It's Halloween so I figured this was appropriate.
How are you going to stay away from the candy? I'm "lucky." I have medical conditions and am on medication that, as a side effect, make my body react poorly to sugar. (Sort of like a diabetic except I don't actually have diabetes) It might sound like it sucks, but after 3-4 times of eating sugar and getting HORRIBLY sick, now when I see a piece of candy or cake, I have no desire to eat it at all.
On the off chance I feel like I need to taste something sweet, I'll have a bowl of that new kellogs protein cereal with some unsweetened vanilla almond milk and some stevia sprinkled in there. 135 calories that are sweet AND will keep you full.
So what's your game plan?
