Eating for energy (IIFYM style) with beginning weight lifting, the scale is not my friend
I know that I have to be careful with the scale, I actually hid it for a long time but decided I need to get back to focusing on weight loss recently so dusted it off. I am following the propane fitness protocol with macros and calories which is higher than usual, but it factors in working out and such. I am just…

Weight History, is it helping or hurting?
So I have been at it for a long time now, I have weight history that goes back to 2010 in my account on here. I am debating about restarting it but honestly I am getting close to being under where I was back then. What does everyone else think about changing weight history? I feel like I am comparing myself to 4 years ago…

back in action! What worked best for you?
So after kidding myself thinking I could lose the weight without measuring/tracking my food I am back. I do crossfit anywhere from 2-4 times a week and I try to walk/jog a few days a week as well. I have heard that cutting back on crossfit will get me smaller faster but I don't want to sacrifice that, I love crossfit too…

Stressed and busy but I need to get back on track
I am back in school and working at the same time. I am really busy and I have been known to let the stress get to me and get a little crazy on the weekends/overeat because I am just not thinking about it too much. I am not going to be able to make it to my crossfit workouts as much this week but I am going to make sure I…

Scale and food struggles!
Hey There I guess I just want to vent a little and get some support. The last week I have splurged a lot after going a little too hard core on cutting stuff out for 5 days. I know what I did and I know why I did it and now I am moving on. I was obsessing about the scale (yet again) and it was taking over me. At this point…

Crossfit or Triathlon training...Can't decide
I know two pretty big different types of commitments but I am trying to decide what I want to focus on. I have done races in the past and didn't get great weightloss but still felt amazing about myself. I only tried crossfit for a few months and had to quit due to injury/money. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome!

Breafast Ideas? Also is snacking really that bad?
Ugg I feel like this is turning into an ordeal! I am kind of getting sick of eating eggs every day, even mixing it up with veggies, avocado or just straight up with bacon/ turkey bacon. Protein after Crossfit?
Hey, does anyone have any thoughts on having a protein shake or something after crossfit? I am not sure if I need it all the time but considering I don't eat dinner until at least 1 hour after my workout I think I should keep doing it. I just want to make sure I am able to still burn fat and get smaller as well.

Crossfit and Paleo

Warm up sets
Hey everyone, I read that doing lower weight warm-up sets is a good way to go. I tried to do that with deadlifts but I was only able to lift the bar which was 45lbs, and I was deadlifting 55lbs I think it is supposed to be lower. Also are you warming up on each exercise? I forgot yesterday and it was only my 2nd day so I…

NROLFW and weight loss?
This might seem like a silly question, but I want to lose around 15lbs. I was thinking of doing NROL 2-3 days a week and then some cardio, swmming, biking or running 2 days or so a week. With a balances protein high diet does this sound like a good plan? I am not sure I can just follow the program to a T, I love cardio too…

Not eating before an early morning workout?
I get hungry within 15 or so minutes of waking up (good metabolism maybe? tell my gut that LOL) I have heard that running or working out before eating can help you lose weight faster. Does anyone know anything about this? I know that it is all basically calories in vs out, but does this make a difference?

Tracking Hip-Hop Dance class?
