Question for the RUNNERS out there
Do you think its better to run a straight 3+ miles or run and walk? I was running 3 straight miles (5.5mph. 32 min). I took 3 weeks off and am just getting back to running. But I see a lot of ppl who run a few minutes then walk?

Sand Volleyball Calories burned?????
I start a Sand Volleyball league tonight and don't own a fancy calorie counter, but does anyone play or know roughly what I will be burning? It's 2-3 45 min games depending on winners. And our practices are 1 1/2 hrs every Monday... HELPPPPP

Food & Exercise question!
So I'm 9 weeks in and Yes I have lost 20lbs and am proud of my loss so far, but after I log my food it says "in 5 weeks you will weigh ...." Well I do eat the same most days and never go over but I'm no where near the weight MFP says??? What could I do???

60 Days In!
How long did it take you to either reach your goal or the weight you are at now? I'm 60 days in on the 19th and have lost 20lbs, is this a steady lose or should I up my burns???

Calories Burned, Go by MFP or my treadmill?
Today I did 98 min of cardiovascular including running 5.5 mph (11) min miles. And walking 3-3.5 for an hr. My treadmill said I burned 820 calories and MFP says only 652! To me that's a big difference! What do you go by? My treadmill always gives me higher numbers!!!

Calorie intake
I was prescribed Phentramine 37.5 to take everyother week by my doctor. He never really said how many calories I should consume a day. What are some of you consuming? Because I'm still eating 900-1200 a day easly:( and its my off week and I've only lost 5 lbs in two wks, 1 on Phentramine and 1 off!!

I'd like to know who eats all their calories back and who isn't. And if you aren't if you are still getting the results you exspected? I see a lot of ppl's diaries and they are wayyyy under. Water Burns Calories;)
We ALL know the pro's of drinking plenty of water, BUT did you know our bodies burn calories warming up the cold water to our body temperature?! I'd you consume 64oz of cold water a day your body burns around 70 calories warming it! Fact of the Day:bigsmile:

MFP says I should be eating 1300 calories a day/work out 6x a week for a min of 30. My workouts are 6 days a week and I usually burn 200-800 depending on time. Oh WoW!
I've hit my first workout goal today! I have NEVER been able to run, and since starting on MFP I have been running for the last 13 days. Well today I ran 2 miles straight! @ 5mph in 24 min! This is big for me, I now feel like I can reach my goal weight and keep it off:bigsmile:
