I was looking through all the success stories and thinking to myself I can't wait till I have one. Well I just took my before pictures and I want to cry! How did I get this way? Granted I'm a stay at home mom of a 4 yr old and a 4 month old, but I can still remember the feeling of my body when I was in shape, and now I don't know this person I've become. I work out 6 days a week and eat 1500 calories a day, I'm only on day 13 but I hope I see results soon because after seeing my body on camera it has totally taken my spark away:frown:

As Tony Horton (creator of P90X) always says - "Do your best and forget the rest".

Focus on getting healthy and changing your life, the physical transformation will happen by itself. In December 2011 I was 203 lbs - I was not really in awful shape, but I committed to improving my health for 2012. I dedicated myself to doing P90X and I disciplined myself off of crappy food and I have just put my head down and plugged along, slowly and steadily.

Fast forward to today - I am 172 lbs and for the first time in my life I actually am getting a six pack stomach. People who have not seen me in a while are stunned - but to me it is just gravy. I know I have reduced my cholesterol 30 points - I am 44 and able to still play A league level hockey with dudes in their 20s (and smoke them), I feel great, I sleep great, I love cooking and eating healthy food and there is no physical activity that I won't try because I am afraid I am not fit enough or that I will get hurt from being out of shape - my mind is clearer at work - just too many benefits from it - now the challenge is to maintain it!

You will get there - one day at a time - don't obsess on the scale - use MFP to monitor your calorie ins and outs (it really helps) - don't starve yourself - 1-2 pounds weekly is the most you should strive for - by summers end you will see a difference - you will!

    Good luck!

Be patient and take it one day at a time... on the days in the future that you become discouraged...trust me...you will have some ( I have many)your before pic will help motivate you more than you can imagine!! Just keep putting in the work, eating well...and you will get there!
