Oh, I hope the picture worked!! (I even resized and it is still huge) it is a small brick wall surrounding outdoor heating structure.. it is chest level, some what high chest level (the one pictured isn't the actual one, the one next to it was a smidge taller and the one I was climbing)... Creaky Knees
I developed a creaky knee over the last year. It doesn't creak with walking, but stairs or lunges. It doesn't hurt. Just creaks. Sounds like nasty gristle being ripped apart. I am going under the assumption that as long as it doesn't hurt, things are fine. Anyone else have advice or commiserations ?

MACROs obsession, anyone else?
I am obsessed with my macros. I try so hard to meet them. I am not good at getting them all jus right AND eating enough calories. I know it is basically 'calories in <calories out'.. But i have noticed a IFEEL better when i eat 'good foods in my macros', not just 'less of anything". And I am almost at maintenance, so I…

I have the Pocket yoga Builder App. It like it! I also have the app for You Are Your Own Gym, for doing Bodyweight workouts. I need to use it more. And I have a Nike app with workout vids. Which I rarely use. I think I will make a new yoga workout for this week. Do you use Apps for working out? What do you like?

I will be hosting a ladies craft day at my house this month. We will be making greeting cards. I like to make a shoebox of random different greeting cards in January to have for the year. I will be making homemade pretzels. Not super healthy, but so yummy.. And better than boxed brownies ...right? There will be a veggie…

Can someone explain'water weight'?
If someone remarks they 'went on vacation last week and gained 5 pounds" people say it's just water weight and it will come right off. I understand slightly, but can can one of you super scientific fitness people offer further explanation. A friend remarked they gained 20 pounds over the holidays. How does one know if it…

Spacing workouts?
Some days I am a very busy homeschooling mom and only can squeeze in 1 set of reps (of whatever exercises I am doing that day) on random breaks. Somedays I can get all 4 sets for one of the exercise, somedays I can get all sets for all exercise all at once. Does it really make much difference how and when I get my workouts…

My first set of Tabatas!
Well,, I did them once or twice in a cross fit class I took. But gave up halfway through. I have a very mild heart condition. It results in tachycardia and arrhythmia when I work it too hard. Exercises that are 'super cardio' or have a lot of 'up and down' (box jumps, skipping rope, Burpees, even sit ups if they are fast -…

Do all HRM have chest bands?
I admittedly don't know much about HRM. My mom has an older POLAR and it has a chest band. I googled a few pics and they all seem to have chest bands. Seems like they'd be very uncomfortable. Is that just the price one pays for accurate HRM results? Do any not require chest bands? If so, are they just at good/accurate?

I bought 4 or 5 sweet potatoes, now I need recipes. Simple ones. All I can think of is mashed potatoes or baked potato, as the brown sugar pecan sweet potato casserole needs to not be in my house, so is not on my list.

Imitrex shots? Anyone get them?
I am on day 8 of a migraine. I tried the Imitrex pills, they make me hallucinate and don't help my migraines, so I am a bit leery of getting the shot. What's your focus? Cals or Macros?
I can only seem to get one or the other to 'look good'. If my Macros look good=my calories are too low, if my calories look good = my Macros are way too high. Which is more important ? (I guess some people are super awesome and have BOTH looking good, I am not super awesome. I am only marginally awesome)

Is the MFP sodium setting good? Too high? Too low?
MPF says my daily goal for Sodium is 2500mg. My protein powder has 380 mg per servings. I am not hyper concerned about sodium, but don't want to go way overboard. I almost never add salt to anything, so my sodium is mostly what is already in foods. I kinda freaked put a bit that I was OVER yesterday, never really even…

How long do I have? When do cals catch up?
I am not sure how to phrase this question. It is concerning overall deficit and treat days, I guess. So, about 400 extra calories a day or about ..( quickly tries to calculate 400x7)... 2800 extra calories a week = weight gain. I assume since MFP has us set at a deficit of about 400 for weight loss. Give or take. So, if I…

How to record kettle bells as strength training?
While it is also Cardio, I am just interest in how one would record them under the strength part.
