Anyone else feeling discouraged? Almost 5 months pp
My daughter will be 5 months pp next week. I was doing great at losing weight, now I'm stressed and hitting the food more. The problem I have is that I was getting big losses, and while I'm still losing (2 lbs in a month) it has slowed down so much. I'm 4 lbs from my (original) goal weight and I feel like giving up. I know…

A year and a day and I'm down 2 pounds.
That's a success story because a year and a day ago I found out I was pregnant with #3. I had my daughter May 16th and I am 2 lbs below my prepregnancy weight. I'm 5'3" and started out 157, then 147, then 135 lbs before each child. I am now 133 lbs. I feel like a yo-yo. 3 pregnancies in 3 years has made my weight and my…

How Far Are You From Goal?
And how long (reasonably) until you get there? This is something that I think about. I don't really focus on how much I've lost, just how much I have left. Probably not the most motivating, but whatever. I want to lose about 14 lbs more. I've been gaining and losing the same 0.5-1 lb the last three weeks or so. Driving me…

Pelvic Pain 3 months PostPartum
So I didn't have any problems after my first two, and really haven't with this baby or after until recently. I've been doing the 30 day shred and since I hit level 3 (3 days ago) I've been getting pelvic bone pain. I didn't think much of it but kept doing the exercises anyway thinking I was being a wimp or doing them…

Ab Muscle Separation You Tube Videos?
Ok, so I'm not positive, but I think I have Diastasis Recti. If I do I don't think it's bad enough to see anyone over it as I've read you can help or correct it with exercises. Anyone have any experience with this and have any youtube videos they like for this? I know I can look, but there always seems to be a million…

Weight Loss Hoping Labor Sign?
So even though this is my third pregnancy I apparently still don't know what's going on! I went overdue with my first two. With my son I was induced and I was showing like no signs of going into labor. 11 days late they induced me, came 2 days later. My daughter when I was 4 days overdue I dropped and had pink…

How is everyone doing with Labor Prep?
Anyone taking childbirth classes? I really liked mine when I was pregnant with my first. I think it was just a friday and saturday (I didn't want to do the 4 ones in the evening). It was put on by my hospital so they only told us things that applied (so they didn't discuss drugs that weren't offered and would talk about…

Anyone else exhausted and lacking motivation?
As the title says. I'm starting to turn into a hermit. I have two small kids (2.5 years and 14 months) and I just cant find the motivation to do things. I've stopped going to our play group and parks (since I can't chase my 14 month old as quickly as she moves trying to throw herself off a play structure). So I've been…

Calcium on MFP
I went to look and see what the calcium settings were to see if I wanted to adjust it to make sure I'm getting enough and it's just a percent. Does anyone know what they consider 100%? 1000mg? 1200? It knows I'm female, does it account for that? Thanks!

Anyone else having trouble with the scale going up?
I KNOW I'm pregnant. I KNOW I'm supposed to gain weight. Just watching the numbers go up is starting to get to me... I'm 25 (almost 26) weeks pregnant and have only gained 14 lbs. I started out healthy weight. HOWEVER, with my son I was overweight, gained 23 lbs due to Gestational Diabetes diet. 15 lbs was in 3rd trimester…

Gender Ultrasound on Monday!
So excited! I'll only be 15 weeks, but we're paying for a private scan early to just find out the gender - only $50 and we did it with our other two kids as something fun. Then we still have our 20 week anomaly scan to confirm! We had a son, then a daughter. Hoping for another boy! Eeek!! 4 days! Can't wait!

"Barely Passed" my Gestational Diabetes Test at 9 weeks
So I had GD with my son at 27 weeks-birth (which they let me go 11 days OVER before inducing as I was diet managed and well managed). He was a whopping 7 lbs 12 oz when he was born 13 days overdue. I had a BMI of 28.7 at the start of my pregnancy, and a family history of diabetes, so I was tested at 8 weeks with the 1 hour…

Anyone else not as happy as they thought they would be?
I posted this in the discussion in the Fit Pregnancy one and then realized about this Group! So I'm just copying and pasting: #3 for me. I had a June 2011 baby and a Jan 2013 baby. So we'll have 3 under 3. We were trying and I was excited and that has seemed to fade with my daughter increasing her wake ups from 1-2 times a…

Holy Crap, How Much WATER???
I just read I should be drinking 128 oz a day?!?! Crap. I hope that includes food and the one soda I drink. Just water I aim for 66 oz (3 of my waterbottles) but I fail a lot in drinking that much. How much are you ladies drinking?

How to Stay Motivated?
It seems like counting calories and logging food has become for lack of a better word boring. I don't want to say "I'm over it" but it just seems monotonous now. I'm doing well, I've been losing weight fairly easily - so I feel like a jerk for complaining, but how to get over that I don't want to do this everyday anymore?…

Lost My Pregnancy Weight!
My son turns 2 this weekend and I am so happy! With him I gained 23 pounds and had gestational diabetes. Lost it all in 8 days. Still was fat, but hey, at least I was back to my before fat! (kind of, I am convinced the body will NEVER be the same!) Joined a gym, lost 10 more pounds since just breastfeeding wasn't burning…

Recipe?
Ok, so we have an almost 2 year old and we're trying to eat better. My son loves: http://www.amazon.com/Chef-Boyardee-Vegetables-7-25-Ounce-Microwavable/dp/B000MIAOWE I would love to be able to make something similar at home and be able to freeze it. I don't like all the sodium it has. Can anyone think of a similar recipe?…
