Last 10 lbs and plateau
Hi, how do I get the last 10 pounds off? I started my weight loss and getting fit journey about 9 months ago, and I’ve lost over 30 lbs till now. However the last couple of months it seems like I’ve hit a plateau, I have tried different things and nothing seems to be working, and I’m not sure what to do. These last 10-15…

New to working out, need a personal trainer
Hi! I have just recently made some changes to my life, that have helped me find time to eat healthier and to start working out again. I've joined a nearby gym and they offer personal training, but it seems like you need to sign up for a 1-yr commitment, and the cost (per session and monthly) is pretty high. I was wondering…

I'm not waiting till Monday...
For the last few weeks, I have not been logging consistently... I have not been working out regularly... I've indulged myself... and obviously, as a result I've not made any progress towards my goal. I was planning on starting back up this week, but I ate too much on Monday and Tuesday. Usually at times like this, I would…

Trouble staying awake... ??!!!
I recently stopped having coffee - I used to put too much creamer and sugar in my coffee (I love the taste of the French Vanilla creamer...). I think I was probably drinking about 200 calories/day in sugar and creamer... I've tried drinking coffee black, but I've always found it too bitter - and so I recently stopped…

Slight pain in right knee and ankle... what should I do???
Hi Everyone!!! I recently started working out regularly - I'm trying to workout regularly. About 3 weeks ago I started working out 5 days every week (M-F) with cardio on MWF and strength training on TTh. Should I do sit-ups and other core exercises everyday?
So I started working out regularly about 3 weeks ago - I run for 30+ mins on MWF and do focus on strength training (with mild cardio of 10+ mins) on TTh. I do some sit-ups and a few other floor exercises on my strength training days.... I haven't seen any results yet, and yes - I know it's early, but I was wondering if I…

I had a huge lunch and I'm still hungry and it's not even 2pm in the afternoon and I have less than 600 left for the rest of the day... I am planning on doing some cardio this evening, but that will only burn about…

My 1st NSV :) What's yours??
I was at a dinner party this weekend, and I got my first "Have you lost some weight?" comment. It felt awesome :mile: I was getting a little lazy and I've been slacking a little over the last couple of weeks, but this motivated me to get serious again... What was your NSV this weekend? Last week? Last month??? What keeps…

I did it again.... :(
After doing well for a few weeks, I screwed up yesterday and today and I am so mad at myself. At least I logged everything truthfully and so I am aware of the damage I did. I want to get back on track from tomorrow and exercise hard this weekend in order to work off the damage I did.... I need a kick to start back up…

How to increase speed?
Hi Everyone!! I finished the C25K program couple of weeks ago... I am able to do the entire 30-mins without stopping - I vary the speed between 4.5 mph and 5 mph  I want to continue working on improving my speed. How can I do that? Should I try and run for a longer time on some days? Or just keep increasing my speed…

I finally finished my C25K program today  I went from barely being able to run for 1 minute, to jogging for 30 mins at 4.5 mph without stopping... I still need to work on increasing my speed to 6 mph, but one step at a time, right ??!!!

Hungry or Thirsty??
I've been logging daily for almost 4-weeks now, and this week I am finding it relatively easy to stay within my daily calorie goal. What's really interesting is that I just realized that many times when I thought I was hungry - I wasn't - I was actually thirsty.. I am learning to listen to my body and hopefully that will…

C25K - do stops count?
Hi! I'll be doing wk 6 day 3 of C25k - this is when I'll try to run for 22 minutes without any stops. If I stop to catch my breath for a few seconds but go ahead and complete the day (of course I will pause the timer when I stop) - should I mark that day as complete and try the next day? or re-do the day??

Ladies w/ long hair: how do u manage w/ ur exercise?
I have long hair... it's past my bra strap and almost reaching my lower back. And I love my hair. I've cut it in the past but I've decided not to cut it again. But it takes takes me an extra 30 mins in the shower every time I wash it, and then another hour to dry it. I wok full time, and I have a busy job - an an average,…
