Personal trainer who specializes in back issues
Hello everyone, I lost some weight recently, mostly by cutting down on calories and walking regularly. I still have more weight to lose, but I feel that I’m kind of scrawny. I’d like to build some muscles. I do have many herniations and bulging discs. When I spoke to a chiropractor about a year ago, I was told to stay away…

How much is too much walking?
Hello everyone. I really enjoy walking, not running, so I joined the gym and I'm now walking 6 days a week, 1 hour per day at the speed of 4 miles per hour. Today is Friday, which is the 5th workout of the week and I feel like today's workout was a bit tougher. Is there such thing as overdoing it? Just curious?

Set my own nutrition goals
I was a very active member of MyFitnessPal back in 2014. I was excersicing heavily, watching my nutrition and had great results. I had some health issues in the past several years and now I'm trying to get back into it. But I see the system has changed a little. I can't set my own calories, carbs, fats and proteins. The…

Exercising with herniated and bulging discs
Hey everyone, I used to exercise regularly and had great success, but couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with having 2 herniated discs in my lower back and 2 bulging discs in my neck. Hello everyone, My wife ordered the 21 Day Fix and it arrived yesterday. She read through the booklet last night and then we watched the exercise disks. How to measure ground turkey
I bought a package of Perdue ground turkey. The entire package is 16 oz. Nutritional label says there are 4 servings, 4 oz. each. So I put some spray oil in the frying pan, cooked the turkey and decided to weight the whole thing. It only weighs 11 oz. So I lost 5 oz while cooking it. So in my opinion, the label is…

Lift heavier or do more reps?

Egg yolks and high cholesterol
Hey guys, I love eggs, especially when making an egg omelet. My cholesterol is a bit elevated, so I've been staying away from egg yolks. My omelets have been egg whites only.
