I lift but do not have enough protein. is that bad?

What the hell! I thought weight training helps lose inches and I have not lost one or even half of one! What am I doing wrong? I do follow stronglifts and do compound moves 3 times a week, for 2 months with a small deficit. Should I include cardio?

losing myself, please help
I was doing very good with eating bealthy. Lately I've been going over my calories and eating mostly junk. I am getting de motivated cause I'm not seeing any changes. Any advice? I've been strength training now for two months and eating 1300-1800 calories. I workout 3 times a week for about 30 min each session. Maybe I'm eating to many calories ( I'm 5'0) or I need to add cardio cause my belly is not budging. No inches lost and I've gained a pound. Any ideas?
