should I add cardio? I'm not losing anything! halp!

I've been strength training now for two months and eating 1300-1800 calories. I workout 3 times a week for about 30 min each session. Maybe I'm eating to many calories ( I'm 5'0) or I need to add cardio cause my belly is not budging. No inches lost and I've gained a pound. Any ideas?

    How did you arrive at this calorie amount? How much do you weigh? How old are you? What kind of strength training? Are you weighing your food? Open your diary?

    I'm 26 and weigh 116 pounds. I'm doing stronglifts. There are days I eat more cause I'm hungry and can't control my cravings :( I'll open my diary. Mfp has me set up at 1240 and I put lose .5 and sedentary.

    It seems you are going over your calories alot. I didnt go through the whole thing just a few days. You and I are the same height. I weigh a little more than you, 117.5. I do my elliptical everyday for 45-60minutes and have been losing steadily. My calories are ar 1200 with 300-400 exercise calories back so 1500-1600 calories. I would try the cardio and work staying within your calories.

    I am going to say stop eating all the junk,,I know if it fits it should be ok,but maybe not! stop with Wendys and Duncan Donuts and premade preboxed stuff..did you know you can eat 6 egg whites for around 102 calories,,mix in some veggies and mozz cheese and thats a way better breakfast then donuts.. black coffee with a tablespoon of half and half is like 20 calories..really even protien drinks will balance out your macros better for you then the last week of food I saw in your diary..you dont have to stop it all,,just try to cut back for a while and see if it helps.
