Im going to start my first day today. Do I do set 1 of each workout then move to set 2 of each workout? Or do I complete all sets for the first workout then 2nd & so on? Can I do this with freeweights?
I am so excited to start SL5x5 next week (monday), but I might not be able to start with all the equipment. In fact, I dont have anything but freeweights. I plan on going yardsaling & buying whatever I can find, but in case I have no luck, I have to make due with the freeweights.

Setting Daily Nutritional Goals for Me?
Does anyone have recommendation on a website to use to figure out how much protein, carbs, sugar, fats, etc. (not calories) I should be striving for on a daily basis? Ran 1st mile non-stop!
Ive been running for maybe a month now (or less) & today I was able to complete a mile without stopping at all! I know this is nothing compared to other peoples runs, but its just the beginning for me & I feel accomplished. Next goal- 2 miles :D

Did you increase cals since started running? If so...
Did you still lose weight? I just started running...@2 miles 5x wk. I calculated BMR (1538) & TDEE (~2500) & apparently wasnt eating enough. So I increased from 1200 to 1600 (yesterday), plus eat back burned. Now I feel stuffed & Im SO afraid of gaining back what Ive lost. Im stuck at 170 GW 125 - 135 (we'll see)

Using TDEE & BMR to lose weight...help!
Am I understanding this correct? I am F 170 lbs 5'5" & workout 5x wk (run & weights). I want to LOSE weight. BMR = 1539 TDEE = 2385 So I should be netting 1539 cals or grossing ~ 2000 cals to lose weight?? When to increase calories?

How much is too much?
Exercise that is. I want to lose 30lbs in 12 weeks...but dont want to be flabby. How much strength training should I do (min per day & times per week) vs Cardio (I like to run/walk treadmill)??? Egg yolks or No yolks on 17dd?
So I know the book says its ok to have the yolks, but since were all counting the calories too, do you eat the yolks or not? It packs on the calories and sky rockets the cholesteral meter.

Today is my very first day ever following this plan
I am excited to start this plan and I refuse to call it a diet. I just had surgery on my wrist yesterday so my exercise will be limited to mainly walking. And cooking simple meals is my only option. Let cycle one, day one begin! :)
