Am I understanding this correct? I am F 170 lbs 5'5" & workout 5x wk (run & weights). I want to LOSE weight.
BMR = 1539
TDEE = 2385
So I should be netting 1539 cals or grossing ~ 2000 cals to lose weight??
I have NO problem eating this amt (haha!) but I dont want to increase my cals only to eventually gain weight. SO afraid of that!
Thanks for any help anyone can give!

Grossing about 2000 is about right. BMR is your 'do not NET below this' number. Your daily calorie deficit is 385, which should translate to a 1 lb.+ loss per week.0
