Back at it
Two years ago, post baby #3, I lost 45 pounds on MFP. Then I got pregnant with number 4 and I was so sick I quit exercising. Then she was born and I gave in to my massive sugar cravings. And now I'm 22 pounds over my weight that I was when I delivered. So I'm back and ready to commit again. Can anyone relate? Add me if you…

Not worth my calories anymore..
So throughout this journey, I have discovered that many foods just aren't worth the calories that are in them for me to eat them anymore. And yes, I certainly eat whatever I want; it's just that I've found that certain things don't cut it anymore. I very rarely eat pasta these days and we used to eat it at least once…

Eating in the heat?
It is SO HOT in SC all of a sudden. And my appetite plummets in the heat. What do you eat in the heat? I'm just not feeling it.

Work in progress
So I'm about halfway to my initial goal. I started January 1. (Cliches are cliches for a reason, haha) I have sidelined myself a little due to some knee pain, but I've been doing Zumba about 4 times a weeks since mid January. I swim sometimes in the evening. I'm a SAHM, about to be 36. I have three little boys, an almost 4…

SAHM's unite!!
Hey, all, I successfully found some other SAHM's to add to my friends list so I thought I'd give it another go. 35 y/o, lives in SC with three boys, a husband and a male cat. I am so outnumbered! Can anyone else relate?

Help! Got jiggly arms!
Can you point me in the direction of something that will help me tone my icky, jiggly upper arms! I hate all of the excess fat that has found it's way there. I am willing to put in the effort to fix this mess, I am just hoping that someone will point me in the right direction.

Not some gimmick, just a change..
I started MFP on January 1. Cliche, yes, but whatcha gonna do. Anyway, I am having great success, I have lost 10 percent of my body weight by making better choices! We joined a produce co op (highly recommend) and I've cut out sodas and pasta. My husband and I went to a wedding yesterday and someone complimented me. "What…

Losing my real life friends
I've been so focused on my goals I have kind of gained tunnel vision and have felt so distant from my friends. It's hard to get together with other moms when the window that I have to socialize is the same time when there is child care at the gym. I'm kind of a broken record too.. But I know I have to remain singularly…

NSV
Going to have to get my wedding band and engagement ring resized!

Kicking my sugar habit
I have an addiction. Any tips or suggestions to quit it? Can anyone share a success story? And by kicking sugar I of course mean refined white sugar, I eat plenty of fruit and don't plan to quit.

Disheartened..
My husband and I started this journey together, supposedly. We bought a year long membership to the YMCA, we got a scale and new exercise clothes for Christmas.. And I've been doing it. Better choices when eating, going to the y six days a week.. And he's done nothing. I've tried showing him the success stories that men…

One quarter of a year down, one quarter towards my goal.
Here I am, started January 1 (yes, I know I'm a cliche.) My highest recorded weight when I was not pregnant is 248. This photo was taken at 230. I am 5'11" tall. I was on the way to the doctor to get my Mirena removed because I am convinced it was making me crazy. So three months in, and I have lost 18 pounds, and probably…

Wearing a baby!
Is super hard work and I do not do it every day for that reason. I have an 8 month old and tonight we went breezing through the mall to shop for my husband. He's not steady enough to sit in a stroller so I wore him in a carrier. He was heavy and heck yeah I counted calories burned with that. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

New rules of lifting for women
I feel pretty good about this fitness thing and I've been losing weight steadily. I've read lots about this book so mine is coming from Amazon today! Any tips, threads you could point me to? Thanks in advance.

NSV!
Picked my son up from preschool and asked him what he wanted for lunch. He wanted macaroni and cheese. So my sons ate it, I ate my sweet potato and apple and peanut butter and did not even sneak a taste. Three months ago I would have been all about that pasta.

Tiny NSV!
Swam a couple of days this week. I am not Michael Phelps.. but at least I'm moving. I was able to put on my pre pregnancy swimsuit, and it fit!

Solitary pursuit
I am so excited that I am on the right track for weight loss. And I have told EVERYONE how hard I've been working. The craziest thing is that I feel so alone with it. My husband is supportive (and has weight to lose too) but has kind of petered out with his loss. And I'm a stay at home mom with three small kids.. I go to…

Fellow stay at home moms
I posted before but perhaps I didn't ask.. Anyway, thirty five year old stay at home mom of three little boys. Looking for moms to add as friends. Being a stay at home mom can be very isolating.. I know I ate out of boredom. Now I am committed to getting fit and eating better. I'm in it to win it.

Take out sodium!
Going over my food diary for today and I noticed that I was way over on my sodium. I cut it out pretty consistently because I retained water so bad during my pregnancies. Anyway, my husband brought home Pizza Hut for himself and our kids and I had three (just three!) breadsticks, and that's what did it.. No pizza, no…

Committed to this!

Best shoes for Zumba
I started Zumba in January and I LOVE it. So much so that when we get our tax refund money I intend to splurge on a new pair of shoes. Any recommendations? I'm almost six feet tall and I think my foot expanded when I was pregnant, size 11s are a big snug in some brands. Any help/advice (even if its ones to stay away from)…

Is it just me?
Whenever I am on plan, I always feel like I am eating so. much. food. I know it's because the foods that I am choosing are calorically dense rather than processed crap, but it's just amazing how much fuller I feel. Anyway..

Help with pants!
I have been pregnant for most of the past four years, and have three boys, 3, 2, and 6 months. I am a SAHM. My husband gave me a gift card to buy workout clothes. I need direction with pants. I started Zumba, which I love, and although I love my baggy pants, I can feel my jiggly bits and I hate it. Any advice?

Clothes fitting differently
I feel like I'm getting off to a great start, I'm following the weight watchers plan, I'm just not paying for it. :) . Anyway, I'm down 5.5 pounds, yea! And I've been to the gym 5 days this week.. It's a huge motivator that I can bring my kids! Just curious, in your experience, how much weight did you lose before you…

Low impact cardio for knees
So yeah, I'm obese. It sucks, and I've accepted it. Three pregnancies in four years has not helped matters. And now my knees hurt all the time. Any suggestions for cardio that won't make them hurt worse? Can I be optimistic that when I lose the 70 pounds that I need to that my knees will feel better?
