Clothes fitting differently

I feel like I'm getting off to a great start, I'm following the weight watchers plan, I'm just not paying for it. :). Anyway, I'm down 5.5 pounds, yea! And I've been to the gym 5 days this week.. It's a huge motivator that I can bring my kids!

Just curious, in your experience, how much weight did you lose before you noticed your clothes fitting differently? I am not wondering about myself, I know it will happen when it happens, but I'm just looking for motivation/inspiration.

I notice after about 6-7 lb, usually, but it can be sooner, depending on if I'm doing a lot of exercise.

i noticed a difference 20 lbs into my progress. at my heaviest, i went up one pants size, but at 20 lbs down, i found that i needed a belt on some of the pants in my new size. at 30 lbs, i've found that i need a belt for every pair of pants in my new size! one day, i left the house in a hurry without a belt, and i was pulling up my pants the entire day. it was an irritating, yet welcomed annoyance. haha

For me the first indicator was with my belt. After about a month (maybe less), I started using the next notch on my belt. After about 2 months I needed new pants! By 6 months I could put both my legs in one leg of my old "fat" pants! :-)
