If you find other items or design that look…

Goddess pose...
What the hell kind of torture is that! I swear if Jillian pushed on my legs I think I would have stood up and punched her (that is if I could stand back up!)

What style cook are you?
While at work last week a coworker was making fun of her daughter and how she prepares everything in advance and dirtied a million little bowls.... I just laughed because I'm the exact same way! So now I'm curious... Do you pre-measure everything? Or do you cut as you go and just eyeball it? Or a little of both?

Yogalosophy
I am going to strongly recommend this DVD... There are 2 separate workouts on it. One 30 minute and one 55 minute (it incorporates the 30 minute one with extra moves and stretches) If I can ever remember to hit start on my HRM at the beginning I'll let you know how it goes, but I'm burning approx. over 400 calories on the…

Nothing prepares you for this....
I am 7 pounds from my goal. And I'll be honest... A year ago when I set this goal I don't know if I really believed I would achieve it. What I'm upset about is the response I am getting from my friends and family that have cheered me on this whole time changing their attitude from happy for me to resentment. I am getting…

When did we become smarter?
This may upset alot of you but I just have to say this... Why did you join MFP? Did you hear about the success a friend was having? Did you read an article about it? Come across it in your app store? Whatever the reason, I'll bet when you started and did the MFP recommended numbers, it worked for you. That's what got you…

Burn them before you eat them!
I think alot of people are missing out on an added benefit of cooking from scratch. Of course we all know that eating as clean as possible is best for you. We know preservatives are bad. But do you realize how many calories it takes to prepare and cook your food from scratch? Plus then there is the clean up! Even if you…

Any Foodies out there?
Although not new to MFP I mainly use to just use my phone app to keep track of my calories. Now I have found a whole new world of like minded people! My question is... Are there any Foodies out there? I'm like totally addicted to Food Network and cooking EVERY meal from scratch! My favorite movie is "Julie and Julia" and I…

Torn rotator cuff?
I believe that about 5 years ago I tore or partially tore my rotator cuff (my dad had surgery for this and said my symptoms were the same) my question is, although I can not afford to have surgery at the moment, is there anything I can do to help this? I have read up on sites some but I was wondering if anyone else has…

A little jealous
I have to admit I am a little jealous of all these "Befor and After" pictures. I didnt really have any "Before" pictures because I knew how bad I was looking and knew how to hide myself from the camera. ( placing my daughter in front of me, standing to the side, or just plain blocking my body with a prop!) I didn't start…

I know better...
I know that the scale isn't the way to determine success when making a life change like I have with eating and exercising. I have completely changed the way I eat. I now cook everything from scratch. I plan and make every weeks worth of meals. (Cooking Light Magazine has become my best friend). I even incorporated walking…
