Fitness Band
Hi, My doctor wants me to gain weight, and I assume by weight she means muscle mass, so I'm looking for a exercise/fitness band. How can I tell what resistance fitness band is appropriate for me, and where can I get a good one at a reasonable price? (I've already ripped my sister's fitness band in two trying to use it…

Flavored tofu
I saw chocolate flavored, vanilla flavored, and strawberry flavored tofu in the supermarket the other day and was wondering if anyone has every tried something like that. I believe it says "dessert base" on the packaging. I've made tofu pies by mixing plain tofu with strawberry jell-o, but this is the first time I've seen…

healthy baking substitutions
I heard you can use applesauce as a healthy substitute in baking, but how much of it do you use, and for what ingredients? Any other healthy substitutions for baking welcome too (I think I've heard of prune puree, for example)

Protein Food?
Any suggestions for healthy naturally protein-filled foods or recipes (I'm not particularly keen on buying protein powders or bars), preferably something that can be slapped together with relative ease? I routinely munch on plain roasted almonds, for instance.

Strength-building at home?
I had a pretty bad bout of stomach flu back in May of last year, and I still haven't gained much weight back. I eat whenever I'm hungry, but I'm still down at a little under 95 lbs (makes me wonder if my stomach capacity shrank...) I just visited my ob-gyn, and she suggested building some muscle rather than fat by going to…

What I"ve thought of…

I had been struggling to lose a few pounds for a while, then I got hit with the stomach flu, which pretty much solved that problem, although in a rather unpleasant way. So now, I'm on here looking to maintain my current measurements and weight by tracking my eating habits and trying to control my portion sizes…
