I have several more questions: 1. The pump needs to be plugged in. How much more electricity is it going to cost each month? 2. The food liquid thing lasts around 8 weeks. How much is it going to cost to buy more (+ shipping)? 3. Do the plans such as tomato, cucumber, and kale last forever, the way they do in conventional…

I think there's a 90 cal a serving Fiber One cereal out there. I guess that means you can't eat it with milk though...

Actually, sounds like a carrot cake to me. I wouldn't mind trying if I had nothing else to do.

Perfect! A student left me a bottle of pickled beets (it's a long story), and I've never tried them before, so I didn't know what to do with them. Do you just use the juices from the artichoke hearts (I'm assuming they're canned?) and beets as a dressing for the pasta? I love all these other salad ideas too. I could…

Awesome, thanks!

Thanks for all the brands! Some I've never heard of before. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any Teavana in Hawaii (or at least I've never heard of it). I think the only specialty tea shop here is Lupicia. Steeping tea in hot milk sounds like a great idea!

That's what I'm talking about! :D

With all the people who have made this, are there no pics? ;_;

Sounds really good. I like the fact that there's no flour. Do you have any pics?

What is pu-erh tea? Does it have caffeine? I get jittery easy (I only drink decaf green tea, and caffeine-free chamomile mix herbal teas at night). Is David's tea and Numi's tea available in supermarkets, or only available online?

I personally like Dr. Oz's 3-day detox cleanse breakfast and dinner smoothies. The breakfast one has spinach, and the dinner one has kale. When my spinach starts to get junk, I boil it and drain it, then pour a mixture of shoyu and vinegar on it. I also steam kale and then dress it with lemon juice, olive oil, and shoyu.…

I just posted this under its own topic, but if I were a kid, I would love rolling peanut butter and cereal in my hands! (recipe from food.com) Ingredients 1/2 cup reduced-fat peanut butter (I used all natural) 1/2 cup honey 1/3 cup instant non-fat powdered milk 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 1/2 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal…

If you try it in a milk choco version, let me know how it turns out :D

chocolatecoveredkatie.com and carrotsncake.com have a lot of vegan/natural recipes. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned these. I go there mostly for natural desserts using agave. :D

Well, I don't know if this will be "quiet" enough for you, but I find Adrienne White's hiphop dance routines on youtube a lot of fun. Works up a sweat too! :)

I use papaya as a base a lot. It goes well with almost everything. Other than banana, I've tried (and enjoyed it) with strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, mango, persimmon. Other than that, I use about 2/3 c. plain yogurt (if plain greek yogurt, I use half yogurt and half skim milk - unless you like your smoothies uber…

All the ingredients sound really good. Pictures??

Dr. Oz recipe Whether or not you like the idea of a detox/cleanse, this recipe is yummy. 1/2 c mango 1 c blueberries 1 1/2 c coconut water 1 c kale 1 T lemon juice 1/4 avocado 1 T flax seeds Recipe also calls for 1/4 t cayenne, but if you don't like the heat, leave it out. I put a few dashes in mine. It was kind of good -…

I just posted an eggless french toast recipe using tofu. :D

Tried this today. Pretty good if you really miss your pancakes. Definitely easy to remember the recipe. It's a little more custardy eggy than pancake-y. I might try it with peanut butter, cocoa powder, or flax mixed and see if it gets more pancake-y.

This was AWESOME! I used cheddar cheese because that's all I had. I might decrease the pepper. It was a little peppery for my taste, but oh, what taste! I usually use greek yogurt for smoothies, so it was neat to have it in a savory dish. Oh, and you can tell when it's done because the creamy mixture will hug the sides of…

Anyone who tried this have pictures? It sounds great!

age 26 5'1" (rounding up!) 105 lbs. Whatever fits. Really, American pants sizes change by brand significantly. I'm an Ann Taylor 0P, but a 5 at Jeans Warehouse??

I'm not a doctor, but my gut tells me that part of it is bones. As an Asian-American, I am the opposite of big-boned (does that make me small-boned? I have never heard of it). You can tell this from your wristbones a lot of the time. So with smaller bones, I think I am definitely always going to be on the lower end of the…

Does it have to be mozzarella? I only have cheddar; do you think that would be OK?

OK, so I just made the breakfast and lunch smoothies last night and put them in my cooler this morning to take to work. The lunch smoothie is nasty like that. You have to drink it fresh. Left in the fridge otherwise, the coconut oil gets all lumpy, and the texture ends up like barf. I was really hungry by early afternoon,…

I'm in a time zone where it's not that late...

Anyone got pictures?

So, reporting back at the end of the first day, dinner drink was around the same as the breakfast drink, I'd say. I was worried about the cayenne, because some people said their mouth was on fire, so I decided to try just two shakes of cayenne for the first half (again, I have a small blender, so I have to do a half recipe…
