Keep up the good work and don't fret. Jobs come and go. Doors open and close, but sticking together and persevering is what makes a family strong. It's the real glue...

I met my 500 calorie goal last night, before dance class.

Thank you all for your support. I know that we will/can manage until he finds something else, just after 10 years of service it is shocking.

    Weight - 171

I ate tons yesterday. I had a hypoglycemic episode yesterday. I'll tell you that it must have been stress induced because I have not had a severe episode since I began omad. Anyways, I will tell you some of the things I consumed.

16oz of Orange Juice and 3 glucose tabs - this was to bring me out of my episode.

Then I thought, "well my fast is ruined, we shall just make it a splurge day...."

Lunch- Pulled Pork Kim chi fries, and a lemon blueberry cookie.

    Snack- Jalapeno kettle cooked chips

Dinner- Chicken Alfredo Pasta (I was already planning this for dinner)

3 pound jump from yesterdays weight, but it was really heavy carbs, so I will manage the water weight tomorrow.

I plan of water fasting today, and getting back on schedule tomorrow. No regrets.

I like the water fast idea, after a "bad" eating day.

By way, you are making great progress, while dealing with "life" problems. Good luck!

Sammy you are doing great in terms of the stress you have going on right now. I am sure the water fast will get the weight off in no time. KUTGW!

You have so much going on, and you have to take care of yourself. I know that fasting can be very stressful on the body, even if it's considered "good stress." Try to be kind to yourself -- you don't want to get sick on top of everything else. Your health is the most important! Sending you healing energy <3

Be careful with those really low cal days. That is probably what brought that on. I had one of those year before last eating low carb I think and was seriously fading after running and then walking around an amusement park and had to grab a soda to revive me. Anyways keep up the good work but also be careful!

I didn't have too tough of a time getting thru with the water fast. I am actually still going as of right now. There is bagels in the break room, which I hate, so that makes it easier for sure. But I will note something, I feel like eating nothing in comparison to 500 calories makes me feel better. I am not sure if that it just today, because of the trash food I ate on Wednesday or what.

    On to a new week!

    Good luck on your fast!
I am actually the same way -- I would much rather have nothing than not be able to eat all I want. I know someone who lost a lot of weight that way. She basically ate whatever she wanted every other day and fasted on the others. I don't think I could keep that up, but it does seem like it would be easier than 500 calories.

Same - all or nothing here too! I tried that 5:2 fasting thing and the 500 calories days were torture! (Plus I overate on the regular eating days, so that was a bit of a bust!)

The reason this diet has worked for me is that once I start eating, it is way harder to stop than not eating at all. Works for me!

    Daily Weigh in - 170

I had a pretty good weekend. My husband was home the whole time so I cooked a lot, and we played games with the kiddos. The best weekend we had in awhile! I followed OMAD, and I am pretty sure I stayed in my 1,500 calorie zone food wise, but I added adult beverages in, and all was lost. So here is how my weekend played out.

    Friday-
    3 slices of Pizza
    2 Fudge Striped Cookies
    1 16oz Budwiser
    1 Glass of Moscoto Champagne

    Saturday-
    1 Homemade BBQ Chicken Sandwhich
Small Portion of Chips and Salsa. (I didn't have very much salsa left, or it would have been more)
    4 Fudge Striped Cookies
    2 Glasses of Moscoto Champagne

    Sunday-
    2 Homemade Spicy Chicken Quesidilla

Husband came home with Pizza, beer, and Champagne on Friday, so I felt it was my duty to drink it. lol.

    xoxo
