Day 4 - Day Before Thanksgiving
Well today as any Chef worth his salt would do I will prep what I can as to make my day tomorrow less stressed tomorrow... I am will get the bird into the smoker and put a light smoke on it.....I am gong to relax with my wife as she home for a mini break from work .... No family to deal with as the boys are with their Families... will probably remember the years past with mom on Family Thanksgiving Days past as this is the first T/G without her and that will be a challenge all in it's for me.
So that's nothing huge...nothing stressful.. Just Greg And Marcie doing their thing.

steps were 5k and change.... I was occupied with getting community posts out... making sure that all of the teams are ready for a very stressful time of year... So yes yesterday suffered..... and I suppose with my re-commitment to this team...to this group...to each and everyone of you I will have more days like yesterday... but what the hell you all are worth it.

@holmesp603 Fantastic job on the goals! As for being stuck, we've all been there at one point or another. One thing I do is log all my weight on a tracking app, then when I get stuck I can look back and see if the same thing has happened before. This has allowed me to learn that during both tom and ovulation I will stagnate or even gain, with big losses later. I can also check my diary for foods, sodium, exercise level or whatever that could be causing me trouble. Hang in there, it will go.2 -

1. Calories < 1500 ✅ 1500 (weird even number!)
2. 10,000 steps ✅
3. 30 min exercise ✅ 30 elliptical, 1 mi walk
4. Log all food ✅

No eating out ✔
Exercise for at least 20 minutes a day. ✔ 20 minute walk and 35 minutes exercise bike
No caffeine after 1pm (my dr's suggestion for sleep issues) ✔

For the day four nsv does not murdering my family or one of my pets count? Kidding, they're just all driving me crazy this morning.
My nsv goal is to stick to the plans I have made.
Most years I lose track of time and then get stressed that everything isn't coming together as it's supposed to. Three store trips later, usually all involving some sort of additional treat or food and I'm a wreck. This year I tripled checked that I had everything I need for the dinner and today's baking. I have moved all non essential tasks until after the holiday so that I would be less stressed, the pets and family are not cooperating with the less stress plan. I have planned out when I am going to start doing everything so that I'm not rushing around like crazy and have even set an alarm for starting the baking. Last I have planned all my food for tomorrow and intend to eat at around the maintenance calories for my ultimate goal weight. It's not as low as my usual calorie goal, but it is under my current weight's maintenance level.1 -

Thanks for giving me a great chuckle today! I'm doing the same today....minus young kids underfoot. I keep wondering how we're going to eat everything I'm making because everyone wants something different. Hang in there.

@ConfidentRaven thanks for the reminder about my scale app! I love mine, it helps to see patterns over time and if I'm stuck or feeling bad about how little I've lost over a month or so it helps to see the progress I've made in the past year (when I started tracking on the app).3 -
