Maintain or main 'taint?
Hello, fellow maintainers! I'm at that old goal weight once again. It brings such a mix of feelings: Wanting to stop worrying about my weight all the time and but also wanting to lose just a little bit more. Always an interesting moment. (I've been here many times!)

A small post about big results (300 lbs -> 220 lbs)
I am not sure I have much to teach anyone but hopefully some will find this post inspirational. I have been large most of my life and have hit 300 lbs twice. Once in high school and again some time after graduating college. In June 2022, just before my 29th birthday, I did a lot of research into the best ways to lose…

is my calorie deficit already calculated into the daily food goal estimate
like the title says. I have the settings at losing 2lb / week (age 53, male, 6ft 1", 285lbs, goal 200lbs, sedentary) MFP has my food goal set at 1740 cal / day Does that 1740 include my calorie deficit or do I need to subtract that manually (ie mentally) when looking at it? I assume it's included, but wanted to make sure.…

Gym beginner overwhelmed with rules and macros and protein and calorie intake, calorie deficit:(
I’ve been at it for more than 2 months now and it still feels like a diet instead of a lifestyle, and I’m used to eating whole food with lots of fresh veggies and fruits but, I guess I lack organisation and consistency, adding to all that the disappointment when stepping on the scale, it’s not going back up, but not going…

Subject: Feature Request – Option to Label Quick Add Calories
Hello MyFitnessPal team, I really appreciate the Quick Add feature for logging calories and macros quickly. However, there’s one limitation: when I look back at my diary, all I see is “Quick Add Calories,” and I can’t remember what specific food or drink I logged. Idea: Add an optional text field to Quick Add, so users can…

Maintenance accountability
I reached my goal weight using Noom, and decided to continue with MFP for ongoing accountability. I’ve weighed as much as 225 and In my 30s i was so obsessed with food i got down to 110 lbs. at 5’6” I was borderline anorexic. So i will also be joining some maintenance groups for that support too. Im 73 and at 150lbs i feel…

How accurate is myfitnesspal calorie tracker?
Hi, so I’ve used my fitness pal on and off for years but it seems a bit off compared to other trackers I’ve used. When I plug my stats into a calorie calculator most of them say my maintenance calories is around 2100-2200 but my fitness pal says my maintenance is almost 2600. 500 calories off. How accurate has everyone…

I’ve lost 60 lbs, over the past 12 months and I do not EVER want to go back. Now that I’m almost at my goal I need to be held accountable in an additional way. And…

Localisation
When I go to add a treat for myself for example a McDonalds, I am showed so many options but mostly default to the US market. It would be good if there was an option to only show UK based foods with a button to search international. Also with shrinkflation most things are shrinking so I am often finding that I am adding…

Got up to 208 lbs. and I'm 5 ft 8.5 in. and female. Then, I switched psychiatric meds and lost 60 lbs. over one year with seemingly little effort.
