Reached my first goal!!! 100lbs gone!
Yesterday at weigh in I achieved my first major goal of dropping 100lbs! It took 315 days starting at 2200 calories to 1530 calories today. I started keto low carb but recently I've added a few carbs back like rice, beans and very rarely breads. I have splurged also and those weeks I did see either a stall or gain even…

I blew it this past few weeks
I was tempted with everything! Bread, sweets, overeating. Everything! I kept checking myself in the mirror and still look fine but stayed feeling bloated, depressed and alone. I have avoided logging my food and getting in the scale. So today I step back into my program. I hate that I reverted back but I am ready to jump…

Stagnated phase
Hey guys Since over a year and a half I have been on and off the fitness regime. I worked out let’s say about 3 workouts a week on average, walked an average of 3 kilometres a day and also played squash on and off in this journey. My body reciprocated well in terms of weight, I have been weighing consistent for all these…

Interval timer between meals
Problem: Snacking between meals Solution: interval timer between meals. As a user I want to stop snacking; I must have the ability to set and track intervals between my meals. Timer should be preset to a 3-4 hour interval (based on 3-4 hour digestive cycle). This feature might require the ability to “close” or “finish” the…

Hello!
I’m Kathy, 53, from Pennsylvania. I lost 30 lbs last year but immediately began gaining it back. This is the second time this has happened when I got close to my goal weight. I’m pre-diabetic, so carbs and sugar are the enemies. I’m looking for groups for diabetes prevention and/or ending yo-yo dieting. Best wishes to all!!

Habit is strong than will
I really, really liked this article. Very inspiring! I said YES!!! to the decision to get healthier - often. And that is the problem - the truth (according to behavioural scientists, and books like Good Habits, Bad Habits etc) is that habit is stronger than willpower in the long run. Its tiny habits, that build life long…

Does it matter if you start the week with upper or lower?
I do a 4 day upper/lower split. I normally start the week with heavy legs then arms next day. I read somewhere you should do heavier days towards end of week to recover? My arms tend to get tired on lower days (short girl probs) so wondering if I should flip it, and start the week with bench press/upper day then "heavier"…

How do I know how much carbs, fat and protein I should be eating?

Should I bulk, cut, or recomp?
Looking for advice on whether I should bulk, cut, or recomp at this point! I’ve been attempting a slight caloric deficit over the past year (slow cut) because I wanted to lose 10-15 lbs. I did, but now I still want to be able to see my abs more and just look more toned overall. But I also want to add more muscle,…

Is this maintenance? Can I celebrate yet?
I just looked at what turns out to be about ten years of data. It made me feel a little bit better. Like most of us, I sometimes get a little frustrated when only looking at recent data. In my case, I had lost about 30 pounds to what I thought was an ideal weight. I maintained in a healthy range around that weight for…
