glitch?
Hi all - I've been using the app for more than 10 years and it has helped me maintain my weight loss that I achieved by using the app. But, I just upgraded my phone and now when I enter my food, the new entry overrides/erases the one I just entered. Like, I'll put in pretzels at 110 calories. It shows up, and then I'll put…

Returning to MyFitnessPal
Hello, my name is Patrick, but my friends call me Oddjob (As in Goldfinger, 007). I'm 46 years old from Indiana. I've been on and off MyFitnessPal for a couple of years, because life happens. Well, I became a primary caregiver and reality hits me that life is short and that I need to take care of myself too. This seems to…

Create Favorites Section for foods
Most of us eat much of the same foods in the span of weeks. We stock our pantries or shop for them regularly. It is inefficient & time consuming to have to search for the foods again and again. Most recent foods is not cutting it either for me. I'd really like to be able to "save to favorites" foods that have 1) proper…

National Quitters Day
About five years ago, Strava did some research. I think it's OK to mention Strava here because there's a way to link data from Strava to our MFP exercise diary. They looked over all their user data and determined that the second Friday in January is when people start to give up on their New Year's resolutions - 80% of…

Can you add Caloric Density as a category for tracking and categorizing foods in the diary?
This might be a shot in the dark... It's nice that we have so many options to categorize our food tracking (macros, straight calories, heart healthy, or low carb) but I'm wondering if there is anything in the works to add caloric density to that list. Although calorie density may be less well known than other weight…

Copy a recipe instead of creating from scratch
I heavily use the create a recipe feature and have a ton of my recipes saved. I sometimes have a few different variations for my recipe - e.g., I’ll make the same chili recipe but decide to occasionally use turkey instead of beef. In these cases, I have to edit the recipe to fit my meal. With my chili recipe as an example,…
