Why isn't the scale moving?
I eat at a calorie deficit and exercise 6 days a week. At the end of every day, MFP tells me in 5 weeks I will be down at least 10 lbs, but my weight never goes down. Gut health plan vs my food log
I’m confused. I started the gut health series which says 25 grams of fiber is a goal for women. Yesterday I ate 24.9g of fiber and my log indicate I was over my recommended 21g. I just started using MFP after several years away. Wow! Things have really changed. I am using the free version. After I started tracking I noticed that my goal for protein is set to over 100g per day. The recommended amount for women is 46 g/day and men 56 g/day. Why is this goal so out of whack? What happens if you don't get 100g of protein a day?
Seems today was a bit more carb heavy, and adding a protein shake would put me over my calories by 100! I am going to be doing heavy exercise later so maybe it'll be okay. My question is this: What happens if you get like 60-80g of protein a day? Do your muscles atrophy?
