  • I have seen your transformation on Instagram a few times! I am glad you put it here for all the MFP community to see as well  You inspire me every day! Awesome job and keep smiling!
  • Yes, I agree to what others are saying; Old Navy sizes run large. I have a 35.5-36inch stomach (around belly button), 31-32inch waist (rib cage) and 37inch hips (at hip bone) and I bought a dress there that is a small and it is baggy in places (I can fit in a snug size 8us dress) also all my meduim tops are getting too…
  • Well done on the potluck! I have one tonight; I don't think I am going to be able to have the same will power you had! My NSV this week was trying on my capri pants I bought a few years ago at almost my heaviest; I could get away with wearing a belt with them last year but this year not even a belt would make them fit.…
  • I am 5'2 SW was 202 and I am currently 159ish I went from having a 44' (i think 44 might of been 45) stomach; measuring from just below the belly button; to 36/37 inches depending on what I eat during the day. My main exercise has been tae kwon do so very cardio intense. I do Body Pump at least once a week as well I have…
  • I have read on here that UK sizes are smaller than American; so a size 12 UK could be somewhere around and 8/10 American. Not sure if that is true or not I do not have any photos on my computer but my profile picture is me at my highest vs me at 7lbs heavier than I am now. SW: 202; Size 16 (but I was in denial and was…
  • Try to incorporate a few higher calorie foods. As @juggernaut1974 mentioned, peanut butter is a great way! 2 tbls of that and bang! there is like 180-210 calories (depending on the type of course)
  • About a 35lbs difference 196 vs 163 SW was 202 CW is 161
  • As a nurse, I am sure you come across many cases like this on a daily basis. If you look at my profile picture the picture on the left I am only 11 pounds away from being classified as morbidly obese (BMI of 40 or greater) and the photo on the right I am 38 pounds lighter but still obese. There is a huge difference between…
  • I am not sure where you are located, but it you are like me and like to wear ankle socks while wearing shorts or capris when running and your socks always fall down, Old Navy has these cool socks they call running socks and they have this section of the heal that has an extra piece of fabric. They are great!
  • wide set pushups I find I really feel there; jus thave to make sure you have a nice form with a flat back. But sadly, as said above, fat will come off where it comes off. If you keep consistent with your deficit and continue to work out those areas you will hopefully be able to sustain any muscle already there and reduce…
  • I started at 1450; went down to 1310 about 5 months in, and just recently dropped to 1200 three or so weeks ago, so at around month 9
  • I should add that I have a desk job and only get around 3k steps a day (outside of exercising; only step counter is on my phone). And that is probably a good day.
  • SW: 202 CW: 164.3 Height: 5'2 Age:24 Calories: 1200 but if I am super hungry I will eat more as I don't always eat back my exercise calories every day. Some days I do and some days I am just not hungry enough to. The main part is just to listen to your body; but my biggest struggle I will say is making the distinction…
  • How are you tracking how many calories you are burning? With out the proper HRM (or something of the sort) burnt calories can be drastically overestimated. MFP tells me I burn 1300 or so calories doing a 1hr Tae Kwon Do class but my heart rate monitor tells me around the 700 calorie mark. You may be over eating through…
  • This! I frequently fly first class as I work for an airline. I used to get so nervous if I was not able to get a first class seat as I was a little too wide for the economy seats. Now I don't even think about it and just pop myself into my seat not having to worry about rolling over into the seat beside me
  • Progress photos! I am down a little over 30lbs and when I see myself in the mirror or look at all the weight my body has on it I get really sad and feel like I have not changed at all! but when I look at my progress photos I see the difference. It is hard to see the change in yourself when you are constantly seeing…
  • I feel hungry all day while sitting at my desk and would eat all day everyday if it wasn't for my tea! I have all kinds, with and without caffeine. I find it helps to take my mind off of all the food I want to eat as they are quite delicous
  • I am active ! Feel free to add me!
  • Still a work in progress but I am half way there. I am 5'2 SW: 202 CW:168
  • Great job! You are truly an inspiration to all! Keep up your amazing work and I can't wait to see photos after the next 100+ pounds!
  • This thread has some good information and some photots! http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/977538/halp-heavy-lifting-made-me-supah-bulky/p1
  • There is no difference from breaking out your workout into two sessions a day. It is the same as me spending 2 hours at the gym straight and doing my cardio and strength all in one go.
  • Thanks! I will try that for the next few weeks. I do weight training and I do not own a HRM so I have no idea how many calories I am burning. I usually take what MFP says and do what most people do and divide it in half. So I might eat back all the 50% of the strength training ones and 20-25% of what my cardio machine…
  • I am eating anywhere from 1200-1600 calories a day. I usually do not eat my exercise calories back as I do not log as accurately as I should (things like milk in my tea I do not log or butter on my toast I estimate).
  • Feel free to add me! Always looking for more friends
  • I find that as well. If I eat it when I am not hungry then I just start eating everything
  • Thanks! I am really excited to start
  • Hi my name is Kayla an I would live to join thia challenge :)
