I came across a statement a couple of weeks ago that sums it up for me. It is not lack of motivation it not being disciplined. Each of us has to make up our minds to do what is important and then find what works.

I started using it when it was all free and it was great. When it changed I went with the free due to being careful of wasting money. I do miss some of the features but I'd rather keep my money.

I have a simple Fitbit Flex 2. Currently I am exercising (walking or swimming) twice each day. The only calorie burn that is being shared to MFP is the most current one. Has anyone else noticed this?

Premier Protein Shakes have 160 Calories and 30 grams protein. I also like Quest bars which would be easy to put in a backpack and eat on your ride home. Think Thin bars are also good. Have you thought about swimming? I had to change from running to swimming after turning 50 and I have almost no pain now. I don't have your same health issue however.

Our food was real food and not Frankenfood. If the Highly F-ed up corn syrup isn't making us fat by the calorie count it does make most of us hungry and makes us crave more of that crap. If this is going to be done at all it should be done in the positive way by rewarding those with healthy habits with a discount. I think that would get a more positive response.

Yes you should ride the bike for an hour and while your doing it try to figure what caused you to binge. I have this problem also and I feel like I really need to get to the root of the problem or I'll never fix it. It if very frustrating.

Yes for some reason my comfort food is peanut butter which can really pack on the calories. It does seem to help with migraines though.

People who are significantly overweight know it. No one needs to tell them. The question to ask would be why? No one wants to be fat. Is there an emotional reason? Is there a health reason?
