Ah, vegas. The ultimate variable in the fat loss equation.

YES! I love sweet potatoes especially. Other pleasant surprises for me: plain Greek yogurt (love to mix it with about 1/4 scoop chocolate protein powder!), string cheese, eggs, any type of veggies, ooh and hummus!

As a 5'3" woman, I agree with this on a spiritual level.
-
Do you weigh out all of your foods? If not, I recommend doing so, as guesstimating or even using measuring cups can still cause your calorie count to be off.

"Toning" "Muscle weighs more than fat" Ugh just thinking about this makes me angry.

Vodka for me ;)

Hi all!! Name: Elizabeth Age: 18 Height: 5'4" Current Weight: 110-112 Ultimate Goal weight:?? Goals: continue to add weight to my lifts!! Not sure yet if I want to bulk and cut again. Can't decide. I'm considering posting pics and asking for opinions?

And so the trolling thread returns...
-
How do you measure your food? Do you weigh it? This may seem like an insignificant detail but can impact your calories tremendously.
-
What exactly are you trying to "cleanse"? Your liver actually does that for you, cost free!!
-
Agreed. But I mean, come on-Usain Bolt, Simone Biles, Michael Phelps?!!? They might not go to the "gym" but they're sure as hell fit!!

See my issue is more with getting massive wedgies I have to somehow secretly pick before my next set without everyone seeing...

Another vote for resistance training!! Personally, I've found that I love weightlifting but if that's not for you, there are other bodyweight exercises you can do that might be more appealing like TRX! Cardio helps create a calorie deficit so you can eat more, resistance training helps you "shape" your body (for lack of a…

Do you like peanut butter? Really easy way to squeeze in some extra calories, and since it's low volume it shouldn't make you feel stuffed or sick! Bananas are another snack/thing you could add to the yogurt to bump up your calories some! All the best :)
-
Exactly. When you hit mile 20 of your marathon and everything starts to go a bit wonky. Not a fun time, I can promise you that OP. Sadly I speak from experience.

Food is fuel and *kitten* happens sometimes and you eat a bit more than planned. I'm sure your body will put it to good use in helping you get better!! Log it and move on. Tomorrow's a new day!

I hope you have better luck with it than I did!! It made me sleepy no matter what time I took, and made my suicidal ideation waaaayyy worse.
That works for me!^^ #thosetraps #drooling
That's way too lean for my taste
Until you're so wide you can't fit through the doorway, you're too scrawny for me ;)

I'm fairly boobless hahaha but at 5'3.5/5'4, I am currently around 112 and I'm pretty happy here. My lifts are going up and I'm able to eat a good amount as I'm fairly active. Try things out! It all comes down to personal preference (as long as it's within a reasonably healthy range of course!). ETA-I'm small framed and…

*stands up and slow claps* This is great. Good for you!!

....the OP asked for our opinions.......

If you dislike weight lifting, I recommend some type of bosyweight resistance training-circuits, intervals, etc. squat jumps, push-ups, planks, jumping jacks!! Fitnessblender is a great site with free videos for that. Regarding being skinny fat-resistance training should help tighten things up for lack of a better word. As…

You can find some of his mobility WODs on YouTube! I credit him for fixing a few of my past injuries. Others I love would be Jordan Syatt, Alan Aragon of course, Lyle McDonald, layne norton, Brett contreras, and MFPs own SideSteel

These bro threads keep getting better and better

Not if you wait to eat the pumpkin till the next day!! After chugging a gallon of ACV of course.
-
Ah, you've been doing it all wrong!! You need to first crush the diet pills, and then blend them into the smoothie!!! This is the only way to really detox!!!!!!!!!!! And you must must MUST finish everything you eat by 6pm or your car will turn into a pumpkin or something ;)

Aaah duh, my bad! That's totally my fault. What about dipping sauces and the like-pretzels and hummus or anything with ranch can be very calorific. Muffins maybe? Stir fry w oil? Both could be tinkered with to increase calories. Also-I've found corn to be a low volume higher cal veggie!!

I think this is my favorite post to ever exist on MFP. Also I'm really jealous of all you ladies with the big numbers for squat/DL. I've been doing this since October and am really struggling to get those numbers to increase at all :(

As mentioned above, granola is a really good idea! What about protein bars for snacks? Some of those can be pretty nutrient dense. I also agree with the flavored peanut butters-there's a Dark Chocolate Dream one by PB&Co that I used to LOVE! If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, they have something amazing called cookie…
