This thread wins the internet. Are people really that shook about pumping their own gas? I've been doing it since I had my first motorbike at 8. If you can't manage a nozzle without soiling yourself, you shouldn't be on the road. But then I'm of the mind that if you can't change a flat, you shouldn't be either

I'm on the other end of the spectrum than the rest of you, but I have to agree to do what works for you....(: Having said that, since I've been on Keto the past six months, it's the first time in my life I'm not starving all the time. In fact, I've tried twice to go back to a "regular" diet plan, and the first thing I…

I guess I'm not paying attention, because I don't see it near to the degree of the attacks the CICO club does to anyone who tries to restrict any type of food. And FWIW, when a newbie asks about Keto, the very first thing I type, every time is, "It's done amazing things for me, but it's not for everyone"
-
It's not "my CICO pal" either, nor is it, "My Skinny Pal" There are many different ways many people use here to achieve their individual goals, yet it seems the only ones who bash anything outside their way of thinking is the CICO gang

You know, I've yet to see a single post on these boards where a person said, "I managed to hit a milestone and I feel great my simply measuring my calories in vs my calories out" and immediately having 20 people jump on them to say, "OMG that's rubbish, you have to do Keto". Yet the opposite happens at least 20 times a…

Hey there! 6+ months on Keto and a lifer at this point 1. Don't think you can eat as much as you want on Keto, you still have to maintain a calorie deficit. 2. Drink tons, and I mean TONS of water 3. Keto flu = chicken broth or pickle juice 4. Fat bombs help, but don't rely on them all the time!

I did Keto for approximately 5 months leading up to June. It's part of how I lost all my weight and hit goal. For me it worked very, very well. About three months in, I decided to go back to a balanced diet to see if it would give me added energy for my workouts. It didn't, and I gained 6 lbs in a week. I went straight…

Rule #1 Don't overeat! You still have to maintain a calorie deficit. You don't get to eat as much as you want. Rule #2 Eat enough fat! That's the whole point of Keto, you need to replace carbs with fat, not protein Rule #3 Hydrate!
-
30 lbs in five months is 1.5 lbs a week. That's hardly unrealistic. I lost 30 in exactly 5 months, and 80% of it was probably in the first 3.

I love food too! Everyone loves food. But you gotta find a balance of how much you love food vs how much you love being a healthier version of yourself. Many people on here advocate eating all the foods you love, just staying within a calorie limit. If that's something you're disciplined enough to do, great! Most people…
