I'm currently vegan as well. Here's what I've found that tastes good and has some reasonable protein: lentil soup morningstar sausage, original I don't cook much, so I haven't messed around with frying up tofu or seitan, etc.

Yea, it is a bit high in the carbs. Couldn't figure out a way to up the fiber without upping the carbs overall.

Vanilla greek yogurt, fat free, with raspberries topping. It usually works.

I don't have a daughter, but I remember the girls in our freshmen dorm were in tears for the first 2-4 weeks, the parents constantly over during the week, them going home on the weekends, etc. I remember thinking, what the freak is going on?

if you don't have time to carve out for walking, how are you going to carve out time for rowing? it's the same. I would first establish a routine for exercise with walking or whatever you want. Once you do that, then you can decide whether you want a rower or not. If you don't have a lot of time, look at doing plyometrics…

if you don't have a timeline, you might benefit from doing some reverse dieting, get your calories up by a few hundred, then resume your current level of calories. google themacroexperiment for an example (about page)

I was also told to stop eating cheese because it has too much fat, and that was causing issues. Bull honkey Here is what worked for me: lost weight added muscle periods of fasting ...though it's hard to tell which one actually did the job, most likely it was weight loss.

Wow...it's nice to see progress over such a long period. Also...looks like you caught that dude checking you out lol

I used yohimbine for a while. It was a nice bump to the caffeine in my preworkout, but other than that, I don't think it did anything. I was around 25% body fat. I think I read somewhere it shines if you're already lean trying to get leaner, like going from 10% to 6%....but not sure about that. Just my experience with…

how about this: 50lbs in the first 6 months (~2lbs a week) 25lbs in the next 6 months (~1lb a week) 12lbs in the last 5 months (~0.5lbs a week) Total lost: 87lbs !! Numbers are fun :)

google reverse dieting themacroexperiment you might be able to get yourself to the 2K range

not sure why people are giving you a hard time. sometimes I like to see a number drop in the morning , at the end of the week, etc. it's just temporary anyway. drink lots of water, tea, coffee today. don't eat today. make sure you're drinking enough to pee clear. use the bathroom in the morning before weigh in - make sure…

I'm a nightshift guy. Some people say to plan meals, but I can't really do that. What I've found works for me is to plan calories. So over the past few months, I've learned that I need about 600 calories to get me through my shift. I have a label called "Overnight" in my diary, and I schedule in 600 calories in advance.…

Are you tracking calories? How long did it take you to lose the 10lbs? If you've been losing 1lb a week, keep doing what you're doing with the calories. Add 15 minutes of HIIT before your treadmill, then get on the treadmill until you hit 500 calories (set the display on the treadmill to show calories intead of distance,…

There are years where I'm vegan for Lent and I lose weight and other years where I gain weight. I can easily put down a dinner of 1000 calories of pasta and veggies in tomato sauce, with 300 calories of oreos for dessert. That's after eating 2000 calories throughout the day of oatmeal, beans and other legumes, bananas and…

ribeye, bone-in

yea, i do this too. hot green tea + a bag (or two) of baby carrots. For some reason, the crunching and light sweetness of the baby carrots seems to help curb the cravings (vs. eating something sweeter). It's still a few hundred calories if I eat enough carrots, but at least that's better than a few thousand.

There's a "success stories" subforum. Check it out (as well as the links above)

If you google sigma nutrition, he brought on a researcher to talk about that. I don't recall which episode. But his recommendation was standing for 4 hours in an 8 hour work day, which is kind of crazy. I think the UK came out with guidelines after his research that you should stand for 10 minutes every hour at minimum.…

anyone ever try to make this with like raspberries or strawberries? I think the berries are more nutritionally dense than bananas - if that's your aim in eating faux ice cream. I think of banana like nature's chocolate bar, super calorie dense.
